Modify and Delete

Everyone knows these two handy things But may I asked what happened to them? I roleplay oftenly on the forums, and it really stinks when I can't edit my post to fix mistakes without making another post afterwords (which is considered spam). Oh wait, and what about delete? I really found that little tidbit handy... I could delete posts that were of no value to me anymore. I could also delete accidental spam by deleting the posts I had posted. Why can't we have these back? They're really helpful to others...

  We still have modify... and delete was deleted because people were deleting malicious posts so they looked innocent. A modified post  is easy to spot, a post that has been deleted isn't.

Delete Button got abused by Users, doing posts telling bad words, harassing etc.
Abuse it and lose it :/ We had to rake it away, sadly.

Don't worry.
If it wassn't suggested, the staff wouldn't of put it in consideration for the forum. ^^
Good ideas though, and we still have the modifying as the others suggested.

I don't see why people abuse things like the delete button. :/ That would've been very useful had people not abused it, causing it to be taken away. Though the admins are usually very good about deleting/locking old posts. Thank goodness for that. 8D

If a person could delete they're own post, and that post was reported or in trouble with the staff, then its less information towards that.. if you get what I mean.. So basicly someone posts something against the rules, and if they delete it the moderators don't have enough evidence for that user to be warned ect.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean and I completely agree. I was just saying, if other users didn't abuse that power and were simply honest about what they did wrong, we would still have it. :/ I consider myself a very honest person (sometimes TOO honest). But yes, having it deleted is probably for the best considering people aren't honest in this world and that's just a fact of life. XD

I know, I agree to. But its just what people do, its like you and me, we have both lied to get out of trouble (probably), so its like people deleting their posts so THEY dont get in trouble.. but thats just them. :3
