So, to preface, all of these files work just fine for everyone else, but what seems to be happening is that I'll add others' presets to my presets folder (note, NOT my_presets folder, but just my PRESETS folder), but the moment I boot up Feral Heart, it deletes them out of the folder. I am at a loss of what to do to remedy this. It doesn't matter whose preset it is, it just automatically deletes it. I've tried fresh-installing Feral Heart just an hour ago and re-downloading Preset Sync and it still does the exact same thing.

Another alternative would be to have it be open one day a week, but randomize the time on that day. It would give players a ballpark idea of when they can register, but not an exact time. So while they'd still have to catch it, they wouldn't be forced to play a guessing game and trying to get lucky. It took more than a year of active checking for me to finally catch it. That's a little ridiculous. Be it bad luck, bad timing, or some combination of the two, it's not good.
One also should keep in mind the fact that not everyone is going to be persistent. We could be losing LOTS of amazing, talented, wonderful people simply because they get discouraged that they can never figure out when registration is.
TL;DR - I vote for a single day with randomized open registry hours.

Hey there!
I'm a long time roleplayer and an even longer-time fan of The Lion King. Back when
I first got on the net, I really didn't even consider the notion that you could roleplay
original characters in a universe someone else created. Crazy, I know.
So here's about what I'm looking for:
Know of a group, or are a member or owner of a group that matches this list?

The characters I can be found on most are listed in my signature.
I'm a long time roleplayer and an even longer-time fan of The Lion King. Back when
I first got on the net, I really didn't even consider the notion that you could roleplay
original characters in a universe someone else created. Crazy, I know.
So here's about what I'm looking for:
- Literate: Preferably, members of the group should be able to RP fairly well!
No one-line RP please! - Mature: The Lion King was a DARK series.
- Friendly: I don't want to get into a group with a bunch of jerks or high-and-
mighty folks. You're playing pretend with kitty cats on the net, don't be snobby
about it, guys. - Accurate: A group that sticks to the story depicted in The Lion King franchise.
No neon colours or winged or magical lions. - Fun: Imagination is your greatest tool, and I'd love a group that doesn't cripple
that imagination unless the things being imagined don't belong in the TLK
universe. - Mapped: I would really prefer if we had a Pridelands/Outlands map to RP in!
Bonus points if it's really big! - Tagless: No tags, thanks. I am adverse to changing my name for personal
reasons. Please respect this. - Ranked: This is okay and even enjoyed.
- Factions: Pridelanders and Outlanders, but if there are other prides, that'd
also be really nice! - Believable: I'd prefer if the main characters were played true to their
depictions in the books and movies!

Personally, I'd love to see more mane and 'hair' options, preferably with better looking meshes.
The ability to play more than two kinds of species would also be neat.
Being able to layer markings, probably up to three to five different ones would make me happy.
Boosting the number of items you can wear to ten would allow far more customization of characters.
Finally, would love to see some of the old maps everyone talks about that I missed out on brought back.
That said, if I ever sharpened my abilities making mesh and textures, I'd happily donate resources to Feral Heart for free.
That's a ways off, though.

I finally managed to join Feral-Heart after about a year of bad luck trying to catch registration.
So here I am! ... ... ... Right, y'all don't know me. I'll just give a quick introduction!
✦ I am a long time roleplayer. I've been in the RP scene around various places since I was 17 going on 18. It'll be roughly 11 years in March!
✦ I enjoy elaborate storylines with complex characters who have real problems to overcome.
✦ I mostly do paragraph RP posts, but generally am good with anything I can get.
✦ I'm an artist skilled at drawing ferals, humanoids, anthros/"furries" and monsters. I might doodle your character if I feel inspired!
✦ I'm a fan of the Broadway musical CATS based on T.S. Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats". It's what got me into RPing ferals.
✦ I'm a fan of Okami, and Japanese supernatural monsters - Yokai - are one of my biggest loves out there.
✦ I'm a fan of The Lion King. Scar is my favorite character, but Zira is a close second.
✦ I'm a male.
✦ I'm kind of a sassypants.
✦ I'm also generally very nice.
✦ I have way too many RP characters.
✦ I tend to be kind of quiet unless spoken to, usually.
✦ I don't watch anime, so I won't understand any references. I know that's a weird thing to put here, but it gets brought up a lot, haha.
✦ I love few things in the world more than tuxedo-coat house cats, sabres and lions. Foxes are great, too, though!
✦ I enjoy absurdist humor and British humor the most, so Monty Python is love.
✦ I mostly prefer Indie, Folk, Alternative and those sorts of music. Up beat with a bit of melancholy is best!
✦ I love surrealism and the macabre. The surrealist painter Salvador Dali and the dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch are my favorite artists.
I've never touched this game before, and hope to make some friends. ; u;
