Game Help / Re: [Model & Texture Issue?]
« on: July 24, 2013, 04:30:39 pm »
That seems plausible... I'd like to think the crashing is just due to my computer being a tad overrun at times. Though, when I accessed my computer this morning, it was running at 50%-75% already with nothing open, which is weird. When nothing is open it usually runs at about 5%-10%...

Otherwise, I don't want to touch anything incase I mess it up.. which reminds me that I did save a back up of a blank FH so I'll try that and inform you if it works.

*edit: It seems as if I've fixed the problem for a little while at least, all normal textures are back.. though it looks like FH still insists on crashing my game. That'll be something to fix for a later time.

Game Help / [Model & Texture Issue?]
« on: July 24, 2013, 04:12:19 pm »
Well last night Feral Heart was perfectly fine.. working (crashing every now and then) but otherwise, it was fine. This morning I got on and this is basically what I saw. Keep in mind I did not edit any files at all last night or this morning. *edit: NO, I have not gotten any errors, meaning nothing for orge popped up and screamed at me.

So as you can see in those pictures... I've got an extremely odd problem. I myself am baffled and don't even know where exactly to start in fixing this. I can only hope that a few of you can give some advice on how to fix this odd predicament.

Thank you!

:I Minecraft runs fine on my computer, and other than downloading a few mods that the game works fine with, I don't recall why it's happening.

I'll do a reinstall and post if it works or not.

I'd like to think not. Everything else runs fine on my computer, that includes a whole other pile of larger games such as The Sims, GTA, Skyrim, Spore, Minecraft, and a few smaller games. All of those games work fine and run as they should, it's only FeralHeart that has been giving me issues.

If you want the info on my computer here~

Windows Edition:
-Windows 7 Home Premium
-Service Pack 1

System:
-Rating: 4.1 ((This used to be at 5.9))
-Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240 Processor 2.80 GHz
-Installed Memory(RAM): 3.00 GB (2.75 GB usable)
-System Type: 64-bit Operating System

On my Local Disk C drive I have 455 GB, with 250 GB free to use
I've also been using a flash drive with 7.63 GB for faster operation.

I have tried running the game as administrator.

Whinp; I did delete the FH folder and reinstall I've done this twice so far.

It says "FeralHeart.exe failed to start" something along that.

I've looked all through these forums and have done the following: Uninstalled and reinstalled FH, attempted to fix the Ogre folder(No luck there), and looked through the media folder for double files. I've spent the past two days trying to figure it out, frustrated that my game continues to give me problems.

Ogre Code
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
FSAA=0
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
Rendering Device=Monitor-1-ATI Radeon HD 4200
Resource Creation Policy=Create on all devices
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

Now I noticed in a Youtube video for fixing your Ogre file was set up differently on both videos I watched. The Anti-Antaliseing was set below Allow NVPerfHUD=No. I'm not sure if that could be a problem or not.

Thank you!
