FYI, my journal is a folder with collage ruled notebook paper in it, and it's been through heck and back. XP hope you enjoy, meine freunde.))

Guardians of Hinansho

Prologue

Before the arrival of the Baems, before this Sentiao, there were stories of the great and powerful heritage of us wolves.
Before our creation, the Praised Lands were ruled by many kings and queens. These rulers were all known as Ridas; each one being entrusted with a certain power over our world.
The Kasairida, Matias, was blessed with the destructive power of fire; with this great power, he poured flames down from the mountains, creating a devastating and horrific scene of flesh melting like candles, and screams of agony.
The Chikyurida, Rijo, sealed Matias away in the tallest mountain of the world, known as Mount Shiru. Rijo was entrusted with the power over the earth under our paws. With such a power, e created mountains and castles, much like those that play a crucial part of the dreams of Ningen, or humans.
To help King Rijo, the Mizurida, Aurora, summoned an enormous tsunami and weakened her brother. She was asked to harbor the beautiful power of water. With this alluring, yet unforgiving blessing, she brought fish to the world, and rewarded the Dires with enough water to grow and prosper.
The Jinseirifa, Sakuya, quickly became friends with Queen Aurora. She was granted with the power of life. With this gorgeous power, she performed dances for Aurora in exchange for rain, which only brought her even more vibrancy.
With the help of the Kazerida, Bane, Queen Sakuya's dances adapted from a heartbreaking solo, to a flowing duet of cherry blossom petals and leaves blowing in the cool, gentle wind. Because of this, Bane was given the power of swift paws, and the ability to stir the souls with his grace.
But, once the Rairida, Raigo, was created, he began racing down the mountains with King Bane. As they ran, the storms began to roll in, summoning Aurora to break up their frequent arguments over who won, and who had lost. Raigo traveled at the speed of light, making the earth below him rumble with every step. This, however, usually forced a spear kick from Rijo, so the speedy devil had to stick to the clouds. He was awarded with the power of lightening, the power of the storm.
Because there was fire, ice had to have been chosen. Matias's biological sister, Yuki, became the Koririda. She loved making Sakuya brittle, and stepping on Aurora's creations. But, once she and the Queen of the Ocean realized they could create things, they made an agreement with Sakuya and Bane. With this, seasons were created. The icy being was entrusted with the power to encase life with frigid paws.
Last, but not least, the manipulative Onirida, Nikao... He specialized in darkness. He was descriptive, yet very persuasive. He had the power to bend all to his will with a few, honey tongued words. He was the one who tricked Matias into burning buildings and killing many with his hellish power, saying that it would make way for Sakuya to build something new. Nikao was dubbed The Lord of the Dark Arts... An apostle of Death.
Suddenly, as if someone had opened a long, lost box of hate, the world of Hinansho broke into a Sentiao, a world war, the most dangerous of sorts, where the elements would reach their breaking point and start baring fangs at one another... Nikao loved turmoil... He had thrown the world into darkness and fire by releasing the horrid wrath of Matias. He filled the fiery beast's mind with the truth of all that had been happening during his ten-thousand-year slumber.
The story that sent him over the edge and into a roaring, flaming frenzy, was the fact that Yuki had made an alliance with Aurora, the femmora who had helped Rijo seal him away within the cold, damp mountain.
When all seemed to be calm, the mountain suddenly erupted, unable to contain Matias's anger any longer. This soon created a chain of volcanoes that didn't even begin to drain his temper...
He sprinted furiously down the the mountain, bringing molten stone that Rijo had unintentionally created, and used its heat to send Sakuya, who had been trying to be a peace keeper, and tried to reason with him, up in flames.
Upon approaching the mangled body of his one and only love, Bane began to howl, creating a mournful, eerie noise that carried its way to the Mothers.
Hearing him, the Moon awakened her sister, the Sun, and informed her of her son's temper getting the best of him once again.
The two banded together for the first time and created a solar eclipse; the sunless planet was plunged into deeper darkness momentarily, draining Matias's dangerous power, and transforming him into an unbreakable statue of volcanic marble.
With the help of the Ridas, the Mothers sunk Matias into a vault, far beneath the ground...
This cave was impossible to get to... The natural spring that ran through the caverns was like sulfuric acid, and melted the flesh. The wind carries an unknown, airborne poison that kills the insides. Raigo had created electrical traps. The ice had spawned fairies to make the earth brittle, and to keep the stone from catching on fire again.
Now that The Lord of Fire had been sealed away, all that was left was to find the dark entity that drove him towards such a feat: Nikao.
During the battle with Matias, Nikao had retreated, and hid himself within the darkness of the Forest of Shi...
The forest seethed with evil... Screams and curses emitted from its depths, as it spat out demons to terrorize those who had done the world wrong. But, something was strangely wrong... The demons began to attack all travelers in all worlds, opening up portals for many to to flood into Hinansho, looking to escape the terrible darkness that had befallen their own worlds.
Soon, a new breed of demon became known... A dragon with eight, tree trunk sized necks had suddenly spawned from the negative energy of the Ridas. It slithered from one world to the next, cursing the lands, and making the air heavier and heavier.
Hinansho had become heavier as well, with all of the strange species that had gathered and mixed into the wolves' lifestyle. It had become so heavy, that Rijo could hardly hold everyone up. As a result, the land under the paws of the Dires, Sabres, Rodents, Sapiens, Aviaries, Hoof-Beasts, and Reptiles began to crack, creating large fishers that began swallowing groups of the species, sending them into the a deep, fiery abyss.
During the many years of, Sakuya had healed, and she began seeing the earth back together with her new realization of her power; she can use it to heal many of the new species, as well as the lands themselves.
Much had happened in her absence; once lush forests had turned into dry, deprived deserts. Much of the Dires' prey had died off, due to malnourishment, as well as competition. The land was badly scorched from Matias's rampage, as well as Nikao's demons and curses.
The spirit of life began to dance like fresh, blooming cherry blossoms in the gentle wind. This spawned fairies to help bring life back to the worlds, and banish the darkness that plagued all.
Soon, Bane realized what was happening. Sakuya's scent had entered his domain, and he became so excited, that he sneezed, and blew himself out of his den in the clouds, and at the feet of his beloved. With his presence now known to her, they both turned the ballet of Creation into a waltz. Together, they spread their power to the far corners of each world, making them spring back to life, and informing the darkness that it had overstayed its welcome.
As a result, Nikao unleashed a roaring fury upon Hinansho, only to have his power negated by the Sun, who had shed light on his evil. But, the Moon wouldn't allow for her to destroy him. He was her favorite son, after all.
So, for sealing the Sun's son, the radiant mother ordered that Nikao was to be sealed as well, but in the Moon's den, away from Matias. The Moon reluctantly agreed, not wanting to do such a thing to her own child.
Due to much contemplation, over a span of two hundred years, the Mothers had decided that the power of the Ridas had become to great to be kept in separate apostles. Therefore, with the consent of the eldest of the Ridas, Rijo, they were all absorbed, body and soul, into the Mothers, including Nikao and Matias.
Sakuya, Matias, Yuki, and Rijo were taken by the Sun.
Nikao, Aurora, Raigo, and Bane were assimilated by the Moon.

Due to this action, the worlds had plunged into a long era of peace. The feats of the Ridas were passed down through many generations, and the stories became known to all worlds, including the Wolves of Hinansho.
The queens began working together in harmony.
One gave life to all of the living things. Without her, nothing lives.
The other created Death... Without her, there was nothing to recycle and give a new form and life to, the ver essence of reincarnation.
To balance the Praised Lands, two guardians were created by the queens.
One, History, answered to Amaterasu, the name given to the Sun. His job was Judgment.
The other, Ages, served Yumigami, the moon, and was bestowed the right of Punishment.

Many years had passed, and the corruption between the sun and moon became an uncrossable abyss. Both turned on one another, tearing the Praised Lands apart, and only making the fischer even larger.
Upon hearing the cries of the spirits, History and Ages sacrificed themselves to stop the queens' feuding.
Realizing what they had done, the sun and moon wept and mourned over the loss of their guardians, slowly healing the Praised Lands with their tears.

Ten years later, however, the beings of the worlds were still in despair. Nikao's dormant demonic energy had suddenly created tremors, due to mixing with the void queens' negative energy. This process created new creatures known as Baems, snake-like entities that roamed the worlds, destroying all who came close to them.
Descendants of History and Ages, the Sun Kingdom and the Moon Empire, formed an army to hunt down and exterminate the Baems.
However, history repeats itself. An unknown action during a serious event triggered Hinansho to split into two feuding sides. The Moon Wolves were forever banned from the Sun Wolves' territory in the west.
We've been at war since Queen Solamare deemed the wolves of the moon too dangerous, and unpredictable.
Though they are scarce, the Baems have suddenly taken advantage of our fighting, and turned this war into biological warfare, where one side blames the other for dropping off the contaminated bodies of the other territory at the doorsteps of their own.
The Sun Kingdom is ruled by Queen Solamre, and her daughter, Princess Mai.
The queen hates the Moon Empire with a fiery passion, but she can be very motherly and gentle. Her daughter, on the other hand, tends to be a brat... King Solem was killed in a supposed raid from the east.
Anyway, the Sun Kingdom is in the Western part of Hinansho, and is the typical European adaptation of housing, and the castle is like a fairy tail made real.
Residents are very neat, and can be somewhat snobbish, but they seem to get along swimmingly.
The Moon Empire is ruled by Emperor Kage, his daughter, Princess Amikesha, and his son, Prince Jun.
The emperor is just, and rules with the steady hand of a veteran, and tends to speak more strongly than needed. He speaks his mind, but never bares his fangs at his subjects.
His daughter is out going, and loves to run off while her tutor is either on a bathroom break, or if her brother's guard is called away on another assignment. Like her father, she speaks her mind, but wants to learn the positive traits of the Sun Kingdom.
His son is almost the same, but he plots every move before making one, but he can be a bit overbearing, which scares people...
The Empress died of an unknown illness after a rabid corpse of a Sun Wolf was dropped at the door of the palace.
Anyway, the Moon Empire is in the Eastern part of Hinansho, and is the Japanese adaption of housing, and the palace is, on the inside, the typical modest Japanese castle.
Residents are understanding, family-oriented, and many specialize in the adaptation of Bushido, or the Samurai's way. Though, many seem to have VERY short tempers.

Now that you're here, and you've heard the story, which side will you support...?
Will you be a servant if the moon, true, strong and steady, yet clever and timid?
Or, will you take the side of the sun, clean and radiant, where the dun rises, and you become a bold part of its society?
