-throws tablet and computer out winder- (I need help :I)

Okay; So I was using Krita (A drawing program for those who don't know) and my tablet stopped working so I unplugged it, But when I plugged it back in, Krita started acting very lagging, And not making the lines or my drawings straight.

I've tried closing all my tabs, But it's still laggy. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Try updating your tablet's driver! This often happens to my tablet and updating my tablet's specific driver helps. You can find WACOM drivers here: (assuming that you have a wacom tablet)

1. try charging your pen/tablet. they might be low on battery or dead.

I doubt that it's my tablet; since mine isn't a charge-able one, and I'll restart my computer so Krita can 'refresh'.

Also, go into Task Manager and end any tasks and processes that you think might be hogging some of your memory. This would include some of the programs you run on startup and that appear on the taskbar by the clock utility. Could be because Krita uses a bunch of memory (I know Photoshop uses a lot of mine) that it lagged out like that because of insufficient available memory.

I used to have the same problems with my old WACOM tablet when opening photoshop and wanting to illustrate. Like where I move the pen on the tablet and then the cursor would move very slowly and then when you move it with the mouse it does this little freak out wiggle before it goes back to being ok.
For me the only way in fixing this was to just restart my laptop and then it works fine after. Not to sure why it really occurs and it is a huge inconvenience. Now I got a more better tablet and it automatically works with no problem what so ever.

Yeah most of that is due to the laptop not having enough sufficient memory. Either the video card memory (depending on how you have your Photoshop settings) or regular memory. Sometimes the CPU power gets taken over by Photoshop and that's where the restart helps ^^

So, Twisted, a restart might be your only option in terms of freeing up some of the processing power and the RAM.

I've fixed this problem. I just had to restart my computer. :I
