Bigger signature pictures?
« on: March 23, 2017, 11:53:59 pm »
I've kind of noticed that they are extremely small and almost hard to see. Is there a way there could be bigger dimension sizes? It would probably make everything look much better. It's rather frustrating for me and I think they look quite silly being so small. No offense anyway. ^^

Personally, I'd love this to be implemented as well. I've tried with both small pictures and large, and they all turn out the same size, making details and such a bit hard on the eyes.  It's not the worst, but I'd love for a bit of a change.

The signatures used to be a bit bigger, by default but the staff probably did some re-working and decided smaller ones would be better. I would think it isn't a bug!

I vouch for bigger signatures, though, some are highly detailed and bootiful so I think if possible it would be a great add back. c:

The old sig's were getting obnoxious and huge size.  Yours looks ok at this very moment in time though.

They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?

There can still be a limit, just a bigger limit than we have now. Big enough to where the signatures aren't just tiny little boxes.

I definitely agree! I understand the reasoning behind the change, but I feel the size could be just a liiitttle bit bigger. It just looks kinda weird to me that a lot of the signatures almost appear smaller than the profile pics.

As I recall, they were bigger way before me returning. But, I think they could be a bit bigger- maybe not overly sized like before but just at a good viewable size.

Yes, they were much bigger a while ago. I had a hard problem getting m'pictures sized right, though. Now 'tis just impossible to get m'signature the way I want because of the limit and m'wonky image's shape. I'd definitely request a larger image size cap.

They should really consider returning back the old image size cap. And I agree with Torskite, our avatars really look bigger than our signatures.

// Whenever you click on someone's signature (or yours), the image becomes bigger.

This has been brought to our attention, and hopefully we can look into adjusting the size a bit. We'll need Raz's expertise to fix it up, but the sizes right now are indeed a bit tiny and make it difficult to view the image. I suppose it comes down to when Razzles gets the time to look into it again, but it all depends on the dimensions that the SMF forum allows for images in the signature.
