Game Help / Failed to connect - please help

A few days ago, my family upgraded to the 4g network. We live in the countryside, so it sped up our previously very slow internet. However, now that we have upgraded, I cannot get into feral heart.

I can access my other online games just fine, and go in any browser, but it refuses to work with FH. I can launch the game just fine, it is just whenever I enter my user and pass, it displayes "Failed To Connect To Front Server". While this isn't terribly unusual, since it normally will display five or six times on bad days, but for me, every single time the login button is clicked, it displays this message. Sometimes it doesn't even try to log in, and just instantly displays the message.

However, we have another 3G network router that is rather slow, and after persuasion, it will log in on that connection. I don't know what the problem is, but it has nothing to do with firewalls, not having up-to-date version of FH, or our dish. That is all we have trouble-shooted so far. Please, if anyone has any idea what is going on, or how to fix it, LET ME KNOW! I am not the only person in this house who plays Feral Heart.

I want to have markings which slowly fade in and out, but I'm not sure how to code this. I found a transparent code here, but it seems that's more for an invisible ghost-like preset, since it fades both my base and marking textures, and scrolls/rotates.

If anyone can point out the specifics of the coding I need, what line does what, or could actually give me the proper coding for this, I would be very grateful!

Forum Suggestions & Ideas / New World News section of the Discussion Board?

Would it be a bad idea if we created a World News board, or something similar, as part of the Discussion board? I created the SOPA thread because it does have some relevance to FH, in the way that it pertains to everything on the internet, but I saw another thread pop up on politics, and there are a few other non-internet/FH related issues that I believe would be helpful to promote.

Basic rules can be applied - nothing rude or hateful, nothing commercial... etc. The board would be to promote certain causes, provide information and ways for FH users to reach out and help; it would allow for younger users to be better aware of the world around them - since I doubt many of them will purposefully look into those issues on their own. It can also be for debate over politics or the like.

Would this type of board cause too much drama?

I downloaded 1.12 already, and it worked (disregarding the crashing), but now it says to download another?...

Seems that some users are running the patch just fine

Others are still experiencing lag and drops, but this could be because of: "Major bug fix! Server might go down more then usual 'cause I'm fixing all the bugs that's been bugging everyone," Kovu.

If you weren't already aware, FH is having some difficulties at the moment.

It'll require you to download the new patch 1.1, but from what I've heard there are flaws which cause lag and various glitches.

You may be able to get in game and have it working, but it may glitch out. We're assuming this is because of the new patch.

There is no solution at the moment. In the meantime I suggest we all wait patiently for the Mods to resolve the problem.
