Comparison of Chinese Mountain cat and Bobcat
How to know if this is a CMC look at the tail. It has more of an ovalish or rounded shape with several dark rings and a black tip tail. Second of all, look at where the ruffs should be. This one does not have any.
The Bobcat is not native to China, Most would live in North American regions. Notice the ruffs on the side off the face. (The ruffs are a gathering of long stiff hair that ends in a downwarding point. Seen in bobcats. Most of the time the bobcat's spots stand out or can be faded a bit. The tail tip of a Bobcat is white, not black.
Why did I post this?
