Hello everyone! I'm needing YOUR help with the making a new Feralheart city. Looking for supporting ideas or people willing to help through the process. I am busy often, and with the extra help, it will finish faster! You will be credited of course and there can be more than one person who can help! If it comes down to it, I'm willing to make 2 free presets or a SMALL map for you or donate 100 points(on DeviantArt) to each individual when the map is done. But I hope it doesn't result to using prizes to help make something free for you all ;-; Either way, it's fine.

This is the old Autumn City map I made quite some time ago. A lot said it was really good, however, despite my attempt to make it as lagless as possible, it still had it. It also has problems loading due to the amount of meshes and poly these meshes have. Which is why, lately, I been in the mood to really redo and just make a completely new city map. I been gaining some inspiration for FH again, and don't want it to go to waste!

1st attempt to remake map
I have attempted remaking Autumn City before. But I faced the layout problem, the fact that there was just too many spaces and too many buildings to be placed. I'm needing help mainly on setup. This was the attempted redo:

This was it's layout plan and there was just too much extra space where buildings could be placed. Needed less buildings to have less lag. Needed more scenery to help reduce extra lag as well. The numbers told me where a certain thing would go that was listed under that number (EX: 30 = park, 21 = bank center).




2nd attempt
I'm facing huge problems attempting a 2nd time:
~Removing some ideas or keeping all ideas.
~Making multiple different maps to host certain areas on it. (EX: theme park map, sewege map, ect)
~Making city layouts so I know where to put everything.
~Organizing the layout to where certain buildings make sense where I put them. (EX: farm next to skyscraper doesn't make sense)
~I have a whole lot of city meshes, I'm not too worried about that, but I can't find good quality of low poly boats.
~Just small other things I may need help with.
~Making height maps that aren't just flat.
~Texturing meshes differently.
~Including scenery areas, not just city/town/farm everywhere.

Now I really need YOUR help to make this a reality! I'll provide some information on what I have and ideas:
~The map layout is super important as it's the main guide to the entire thing (EX: paint image with numbers).
~Anything with '?' is something that I need help with, more stuff I need help with listed above.
~Anything with 'M' is something that is gonna be done on another map to main city.
~Anything with 'I' is something that needs to be on a tiny island sitting beside the main island.
~Tell me if you think ANY ideas for this map can be removed, done on another map, or just not important ideas.
~Remember, the more ideas = more lag rate.
~Please avoid using any curves in roads as it's difficult to work with.

Any updates to item packs will cause items to appear differently until more people start actually moving over to the update, so it does take some time.

I was wondering if anyone has the links to the Attack on Titan gear item, and the gas mask item.

Both were made by http://mashybunneh.deviantart.com/ but they seemed t be hidden/removed.

If you're saying that when you're trying to load the height image into the map, the game crashes, then I believe it's not a big problem. If you're using gimp all you have to do is this:

-open the heightmap image into gimp.
-Then at the top of gimp it says Files - Edit -Select - ECT - ECT...
-Click on the one that says 'Image'
-Near the bottom it then says 'flatten image'. Click it.
-Export it as 'HeightmapNameHere.png' , make sure it's .png

Same thing goes for the color image.

I'm sorry this doesn't completely related to what you were asking for, but I hope this fixes your problem with the crash. ;u;

And if you can, please. ^^ It's basically a frozen/ice waterfall. No moving texture.

I organize my own mesh files, so all my particle-related fh objects are grouped as '7Sparticles.fho'. I have particles in my map(I'm aware of the duplicate-particle glitch but I know how to fix that) so, would removing the 7sparticles.fho probably be one try of fixing this?

Game Help / Map Failing?

Well, one of my friends are having difficulties connecting to a map I'm making. I'm wanting to know if there's a way to fix this or so? Or what's probably causing it..?

Describe map:
-It's a big file map
-It has lots of meshes in it but a lot have no collision
-There's little to no lag
-The map is only 25,000w.
-Anything else...?

Situation:
-Friend installs map correctly
-Enters portal
-Connects to map
-Instantly after connecting, FH closes without explanation.

Friend:
-Runs mac
-Limited space but space is still available

Sorry if there's a post like/for this out there. Must have missed it.
