Request a Preset/Marking / French Spaniel Preset Needed [Ref Included]
« on: December 08, 2014, 08:48:59 pm »
I would like a French Spaniel preset for my new character. Here is the reference for it; http://frenchspaniel.us/images/french-spaniel/french-spaniel-32-modthesims.JPG
I would prefer if a custom texture was used. For the eye texture, can you please use the canine eye texture made by Tearless (It's on his thread under the realistic wolf texture.) I would not mind if you make the spots on the dog different on either sides, but that is optional. The eyecolor should be a very light green/blue color.
I'm not sure what to give you in return, I suppose I could do a photo edit in return, I don't have many talents of my own. xD

Game Help / FH for MAC?
« on: September 10, 2014, 01:20:30 am »
Okay, so my friend tried to download FH for Mac, opened up the FeralHeart file, and when they tried to open it to play, it said that it couldn't play it, something about not recognizing it? Does anyone know what they might have done wrong? Because they downloaded the proper link, and I have no idea about MACs.

Game Help / Darkening Mesh Textures?
« on: September 09, 2014, 04:20:29 pm »
Okay, so I'm making a map using Bluestone, no sky file making it darker, and I have begun to retexture meshes to make them look like their apart of the map, however... The Bluestone applied to meshes is rather... ambient compared to the darkened Bluestone in the cave. Does anyone know how to fix that, or the code to insert to make it equally dark?

Request Maps / Very Simple HeightmapRequest, Ref Included!
« on: August 29, 2014, 07:15:48 pm »
I am looking for someone to make a heightmap for a catacombs/aquaduct map. No heightmask will be necessary. Preferred that you make the tunnels within a pure white map simply for emphasis of height in the map.
Here is the reference (Not that it is not mine.)

Please let me know if you are going to do this so that others don't make duplicates. I only want the main piece, any stairwells can just leadto dead ends (The things not connected to the main map are unnecessary.) The wholes with the squiggly lines should be lesser in height as they are waterareas.
I am very thankful if you do this!
Please message me the results when you are done.

Request Maps / Heightmap Request
« on: April 14, 2014, 07:35:45 pm »
I am looking for someone who would be willing to make me a heightmap of the Campagnia region of Italy. There is a terrain/topography map here for reference.
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could do this for me. I am able to make the mask myself, and the rest of the map will be easy. I just cannot do the heightmap (Trust me, I tried.) Working on a grayscale canvas with no extra layers allowed is far too complicated for me.
Please message me the heightmap when finished! Let me know you'll make it to avoid getting multiple people!

P.S: The map will need to fit a very large scale, height will be adjusted as needed, and adding details to the land would be excellent!

I finally made him a bio...
.: *~*~* Gabriel *~*~* :.

For quite some time, ever since he was a pup, Gabriel has been roaming Fluorite from time to time, sometimes dwelling in a group, some times running free. Sometimes he left Fluorite to go to the other areas. But all in all, he's been around.
Since 2011.
This form will be updated constantly as time progresses.

His History
Gabriel was born to Catherine and Matthew. Sadly, he does not remember his father; Matthew came down with a terrible illness and left Catherine to tend her pups alone, fearing they would become ill as well. Catherine was forced to teach her pups how to survive by herself. After a few months, she'd come down with the same illness. She rushed to teach the pups how to survive, and told them she loved them. Gabriel never understood why she shied away from him when he attempted nuzzle her in farewell.
Shiloh and Gabriel lived and traveled together until 1 year of age, which was when they split up. When apart, there was a feeling of emptiness that neither could point out. Many of times, they gather up again, usually when one joins a pack. The other follows them.
Gabriel's side of the journey has its ups and downs. At one point, he conducted a small travelling group with two lions, one in which left shortly after. However, the other lion he had liked very much, and was when he went on without the lion, it was a saddening pain to him.
Awhile after his long travels, he reached the pack of Ater Mavors, where he ranked as a watcher. He liked to think he had made many friends there, but, it began to feel like everyone was slowly drifting away and he went on. It was harder to do than he imagined it would be, and he hopes to see them again. Perhaps, one day join back to the old group.
Now, he is travelling free, his brother is currently remaining among the ranks of the old group and he finds himself alone. Perhaps he will establish another travelling group.

Traits
On the advantage side, he is a very good hunter and extremely agile. He has very good survival skills, and knows plenty of places to shelter, get food, or simply find protection. The only fighting skills he has is one-on-one, and often relies on his hunting skills to fight. He would make a good spy, being able to sneak around--if he really wanted to, at least.

He, unfortunately, has many disadvantages. To start with, despite his agility, he cannot foretell the opponent's moves very well. This leads to lack of skill at dodging, and his attempts usually lead to worse infliction. Another contribution to his not-so-good fighting skills, false ability to dodge, and disability to run away in the face of trouble is lead on by one medical condition. He has stress-induced arthritis. Which means he has a form of arthritis (tension and pain in the muscles, often the limbs) that is activated by stress. And being that he gets scared/worried easily, it acts up almost all the time when threatened. Worse of all, is he cannot predict danger unless it is staring him right in the face. He does not have common-sense to think about the fact that someone could be a spy or assassin, nor does he see any pack as threatening until its too late.

As for neutral traits, he is too shy to approach anyone normally. But after approached, or after he greets someone, he will be extremely friendly. He shows a lot of affection to almost everyone, unless they scare him or mock him past his trusting zone. As said before, things scare, upset, or alarm him easily, and he gets stressed out over situations quickly. On the other side, when he is alone, he will often sing songs.

That's all for now!

Game Help / Another MapMaker problem requiring help.
« on: July 30, 2013, 04:53:32 pm »
Attention anyone skilled with maps. Recently a friend of mine, Twoface, made me a heightmap. Everything seemed fine- It was 513 x 513, Grayscale, and a .png image.
However, when put it in Map Maker, it gives that famous "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working."
Anyone know why, or how to fix it?
Thank you in advance.

Game Help / Converting.
« on: July 28, 2013, 11:58:13 pm »
Hallucination here, looking for some help!
I am certain the title has given you some sort of clue as to what is going on here. But not exactly. This is mainly a game of gathering the programs. Otherwise, I understand how to convert the mesh itself. I just do not remember what programs are needed, and the tutorials...Well, I'm incapable of understanding them. Can someone give me a clear list of the programs I need to install (Hopefully compatible with the newest version of Blender, 2.68.) I need to know what Python is compatible with Blender 2.68 and all its little extensions needed for this. I need the thingy to make it export an .xml file, and the thingy to convert the .xml file to .mesh... And a little briefing how to get it all to work in harmony.
Extra points if you can direct me to the Direct X Blender plug in for exporting the .x files I believe it is. (That's for a different purpose however.)
Thank you in advance.

}{ Over The Emperor's Blood }{

The first story begins... "The Son of Evil"...

"Alas! The great Emperor Jakuni is dead! His assassin unknown!"
The cries filled the kingdom's street. Citizens pushed out of their houses, still tired from the hour of night it was, to hear the news that their cold-blooded emperor was dead. "Though he sleeps in the palace of Hades, his blood runs on as the prophecy foretold! Once he hath named a son Crimson, whom was shunned and banished. Identity changed! We shall search for this son, and prosecute him at once!" The news carved everyone in the crowd, and they all turned to each other and talked in groups until at last a voice rang out from a dark man in the back. "And what will the prosecution be of? A death sentence? A life's imprisonment?" The scoff was returned with the clear words; "Prince Crimson shall slaughter his mother and take the throne. That is the prosecution." Astonished gasps rippled the crowd, but many of the men looked eager, as if they wanted to trick the town in to believing they were Crimson not only for the power... but for the ability to overthrow Empress Tetra.
Would the true and innocent Prince Crimson ever be found? Or his reputation soiled before it even began?

The Classes

The Young
Under the laws, the children do not have a class other than being young. This lasts until hey reach 15, when they are expected to marry and begin their own family. At the age of five, they are brought before the Dynasty's representatives and their future is decided. The Poor class have a 50% chance of their child being taken away and sent to work somewhere. Sometimes they get a normal place to work as an apprentice, other become apprentices in the Emporium, and some are left behind for the Scoundreff, where they are sold as a slave or sent to a brothel, regardless their age, unless they are lucky enough to become a marketer or assassin. At home, they get to work with their parents on their farm, in their business, or whatever tasks around the house they have. If the parents do not have a business or farm, they become an apprentice at the age of ten to a business, however they only work during the day. At age of fifteen they are released from their bounds, apprentices can take over their mentor's work so he/she may retire, or their parents work, or they may marry without such and start there own business/farm, or go to the Emporium or House of Gods to inquire about joining those ranks. Rarely do they choose to go to the Scoundreff.

The Scoundrels
Assassins, slave-masters, brothel-workers, black market traders, thieves, murderers, refuge convicts, and other dark people make up this class that takes up 10% of the population. As sicking as it is, they stay hidden in the Scoundreff, hoping to lure in some new members. Once you become one of them, you cannot go back. They are all together, and if you turn against them, leave or breathe a word about them, they will unite and slaughter you. There is no going back from these people, and the Dynasty has given up trying to fix the problem of them. Every time they try, they lose people. Despite the small percent it takes up, it is quite a large community, and their bonds keep them undefeated. You can kill one, but it is impossible to kill them all, even if you try one-by-one.

The Poor
Their features become much older quickly from the stress of working hard have enough money to pay their taxes and keep their land. They usually work on farms, never having time to clean the dirt off their face and hands, other times they work in small stores, tailor shops, and other places that do not make much profit, and take up 30% of the population. There life is hard, and they are looked down upon greatly. To make things worse, their children are likely to be taken away for "unfit conditions", or to "give them a better future", as though they are mocking the class. Many times, the Dynasty attempts to lower the amount of Poor people they have. Not in the good way, such as helping them. The closest to help they receive is being put out of their misery; Once a year they gather one hundred poor people, whether they have someone relying on them back home or not, and push them into a ditch. While the poor people cower on the ground, they kill them however they please. They shoot them with guns, arrows, throws knives and spears at them, and then bury them, alive or dead, right in the ditch. The life of the poor is never easy, and against the community they have no faces. All they have is the others of their class, and revolting is useless; They'd all be killed. They wouldn't care if they killed a million people... They would shoot them all down. The poor mean nothing to the community.

The Citizens
Married couples, land-owners, business-owners, or anyone with a network of/over 50,000 dollars make it in to the citizen class. They are your basic people you see every day, doing well in life. But simply well. Life could be better. They do not receive honors like the higher classes, they are not allowed to have a trial if prosecuted are are usually hung whether innocent or guilty, which is how many innocent die. They may seem well, but they still live in subtle fear of what could happen to them in the blink of an eye, as the Dynasty only sees good support in the richer. Their class contributes to 40% of the kingdom's population, and are quite widespread. Their houses are only moderately sized, and they yearn to be apart of the higher class.

The Gladiators
Dressed in the traditional robes outside of battle, there is always a gap in the cloth to reveal their right shoulder, to show the olive branch marking that shows their ranking. Due to the fact that the kingdom became feared and barely had any battles, the Dynasty's gladiators were sent to the greatly build Emporium. It used to be a dome for sports, races, and horse-displays, but soon became a blood-stained battle arena for the gladiators whom nearly killed each other for the enjoyment of the kingdom. In battle, they always wear samurai armor, polished and shining, and have to get it cleaned daily to wash off the blood. Sometimes a gladiator never returns from the show, and the kingdom never notices it. It sounds like a dirty job, but after awhile the Gladiators begin to enjoy their destiny.

The Wealthy
Taking up 20% of the population, the rich dress in fine robes and live in large houses, aside from other properties and places. They must have a network of 100,000 dollars to get in to this class, and make more money a day than the poor could wish for in a year. They feed from the lower classes, each getting 10% of the people's taxes. And with the amount of taxes collected, they could get rich with just their share. They are a very strong class, and receive many benefits for their rank. They may hold a trial, and even if guilty, they are rarely prosecuted. Even if they were to be, they would simply bribe the Dynasty and be set free. They often have a good connection with the dynasty and other high ranks, and not just by having tea and meals with them, as well as getting to hold a place of the Dynasty's bench during important decisions. Sometimes they bribe them to rig the Emporium's system. Other times they bribe the priests to falsify an omen or prophecy to stir up the community. They think they can play God with the entire kingdom, and with their riches, it is sad to say that they can.

The Religious
All the priests, and monks, the high-ranked devotes, and other members of the Clergy make up the class known as the Religious. They dwell near the House of Gods, and worship the ancient gods strongly. They will sit for hours at an altar, praying to the lords, or practicing ceremonies and spells native to their religion. They rarely cast evil spells or turn corrupt unless something terribly awful occurs, as they are peaceful by nature. They respect the poor, and cast dark looks upon the Wealthy's actions, and search for an end to the gladiator battles. However they keep these perspectives secret, as they can be slaughtered for their thoughts about the actions of the society. They are often seen speaking with members of the Young class when in public, trying to create a generation of good energy and steady believers in the gods. Though  they do not expect the new generation to join their ranks, they wish for them to show the half of society whom do not believe in the gods that they, too, can do so.
