Dad smiled when his daughter came, "Jade leave Riahn alone, he's watchig the pack" he said, then Jade replied, "Sorry dad, I went over to say hello" she smiled "Well I'm tired.. by the way." Dad nod. Jade looked at her dad and started laughing, "I was just kidding, anyway, did you save me any food?" she smiled again, Mom popped out laughing at her daughter, "Yes Jade, here" she said giving her meat.

Riahn looked at Jade and his eyes gleamed, he wondered if she'd make a good queen. Riahn shook his head. Of course she'd be a good queen, i'm such a rabbit-brain! The king thought to himself. He shook his pelt, shaking off the snow and bolted into the woods, the sky turning a lavender color. He never felt so alive, his black fur was fluffed up in the cold as he jumped across a river and he landed on the other side. He sniffed the air as he smelled something, an eagle! The eagle was speeding towards him, it's talons aimed for his throat.  He was tackled to the ground, he howled. "EAGLE ATTACK! PROTECT THE PUPS AND CUBS!"

Aria and Thunder heard the Riahn's order, and immediately ran over, protecting the pups, and started growling at the eagle. Jade gasped, seeing Riahn on the floor and quickly ran over to help.

Riahn growled at the eagle and slashed at it's wings, making it unavailable to fly, he bit it's throat, blood splattered his muzzle. The eagle went limp and it died immediately.

Thunder and Aria heared the eagle finally words and wondered if it was over. Jade blushed at Riahn seeing how brave he was, "Are you okay?" she said.

He looked up at Jade and nodded, winking. "I'm alright, Jade. Hey, uh would you like to walk with me later?" He stood up, picked up the lifeless body of the eagle and put it in the middle of the camp.

Everyone in pack gasped immediately, and noticed the eagle looked huge. Jade thought about it for a second, then finally answered, "Sure" she said with a smile. Mom started to worry about only daughter, then saw her from a distance, and signed with relief.
