I remember keeping a snail for a friend in a cage a time ago. It laid eggs, but then the woolly bear that lived with the snail started to eat some eggs because I didn't have enough leaves. The woolly bear died, then I left the cage outside, letting it get filled with rainwater. I don't know if the babies that have hatched earlier survived the "flood".
Also, I remember keeping a snail for a project in I think 5th or 4th grade. I remember it trying to eat my finger. lol
