It has been 164 years since World War III has ended, and nations have fallen appart. The war caused immense damage and destruction despite lasting about 5 hours. There are hardly any green trees left on the Earth, and each thing you eat and drink has the chance of giving you a disease. But other animals have survived the war as well, and they want food and water too. Most of the food can be found in populated run down cities; But be wary: Not every human loves seeing a dog or cat digging through their trash. Humans are now used to living in bad environments, so they know the territory; Inside and out. The only path to survival is to live off of whatever you find and gain others trust.
You have one goal; Stay alive.
Life or Death.


Dangers

Rats - Rats have become as large as an average house cat (even bigger) because of the radiation. More of a nuisance than a threat. But remember; They travel in groups of 4 - 6, and they can carry deadly diseases.

Cockroaches - Cockroaches are about the size of cats. They don't mind the sunlight and will often be encountered in well lit areas. Despite being weak, they often cause quite a scare for anyone, even animals.

Other Stray Dogs/Cats - Coming in contact with one of your own kind is the main concern when it comes to dealing with other enemies. Most dogs will attack on sight and others are weak and dying from disease. Cats can be a problem too, especially in groups of 2 or 3. Some may carry worms, or other infections illnesses. Others know the arts of stealth and can attack by surprise.

Diseases - Self explanatory; If one has a caught an illness, seek for the nearest clinic, the doctors there have certain drugs that can rid you of the sickness.

Thunder Storms - They seem harmless at first; Until a tree catches fire. Storms are an easy way to make forest fires happen.

Raiders - Men who travel the apocalyptic countryside in search of houses to raid, and kill whoever stands in their path. These men are different; They have no mercey, animal or man. Avoid at all costs.

5. Try and keep the amount of males and females equal.
6. Violence/Gore is allowed.

Brute does not specify any gender at all and masculine is an adjective.
8. Mild Language is allowed; Just don't take it to the extreme. If you are not comfortable with language, simply don't join.

Brief History/Personality :  Neal is much like the old man who yells at you to get off his lawn. He's rough on the edges and very hostile, and most would say it's best to avoid him. He's grown jaded and insufferable in his old age. If one got to know him, they'd be disappointed to find that there is no warm, gooey interior to this male. He acts just as bitter and angry as he is on the inside, and nobody knows why he is this way. It's all buried in his long history that Neal is not too eager to share. To add a few other things, he is quite anti-social, flighty, and selfish.

If there is any upside to his personality, it's that he won't turn a blind eye to injustice. He may even lend a paw to someone being treated unfairly or suffering, but he won't stick around long enough to hear a 'thank you'.
Extras : His front right leg was bit by a rat, and a disease is spreading across his body. He may not live long without medical attention.

Extras : She hates rats so much that she would kill them even if she died trying.

Brief History:
Sienna lived with a small family in the inner city, the family consisted of two humans who were between the ages of 35/40. The woman went by the name Malissa and the man went by the name Kevin, they had two children: their son -Blake- was the age of 16 and their daughter Kasey was the age of 12. They loved animals and for years their children would ask constantly for a dog and giving in their parents decided to. The parents began to search the internet and papers to find a pup which they could bring into their home, and soon enough they did.

Seeing an ad in the local paper for 'GSP x Dalmatian puppies' seeing as the children loved dalmatians and the parents loving the Pointer, this was a pup they had all agreed on getting. The family visited the home which held the dogs and underwent many tests to see if they were suitable for such an outgoing dig - luckily they passed. Within two days they chose their pup and took her home. The family already had the dogs black collar picked out with a pink, circular name tag saying 'Sienna' with other information on the back.

For a year the family went through tough training and continuous love with the young pup, making her into the intelligent and well behaved dog she turned out to be. Regularly the family would visit local parks and beaches - and even ones out of town. Around the city Sienna became a much loved dog by friend, family and just passers by on the streets. It had gotten to three years and the children and also the humans were growing older, along with herself - but the families bind still went strong. Until Sienna hit the age of 3 and a half.

She remembers exactly what happened that day, and it just brakes her heart. The small family were sitting down having dinner whilst their bloated canine lay in her cushioned bet - listening out protectively for her family. But the heavy sounds of footsteps caused the dog to raise alarm, then suddenly the back and the front door burst open, men in dark suits came bursting in causing yells and screams to exit the humans mouths. Like any protective dog would she attacked, she could watch her family being dragged out of the house - but her efforts failed as she was smacked into a wall.

The dog lay almost unconscious for several minutes, the fearful screams of the family still lingered causing the dog to push one more time to help her family. Sienna was only able to attack one of the smaller men before being flung back across the room and locked in the house. She remembers receiving a harsh beating and being locked in the hose for a while - until managing to escape. For half a year now she has been wondering the destroyed streets.

Personality:
Because of her past, at times Sienna can be rather harsh and snappy towards other canines and even people - but she doesn't do it intentionally. Sometimes Si can be a little shy and skittish, this also being because of her past - but its strange because at times she is also very confident and outgoing. Sienna wasn't brought up to be an aggressive fighter so isn't really one for fighting, if need be she will but usually she uses the skills she is better at which is her stealth and stamina. When you get to know her you'll see she is easy to get along with and is a rather happy dog - despite her past, which if asked she will tell. Sometimes she's stubborn but she mostly is kind hearted and will help most, her emotions are easy to read and sometimes she opens up a little to quick. You don't really know what you're going to expect with her.

Brief History:
When she was younger Aurora was brought up on the outskirts of the town. The family she lived with loved being outdoors and often ventured into the forests, mountains and coastal areas - but rarely ventured into the city, although on some occasions they would. Ever since being a young pup Astro got free roam and was rarely on a leash, although this often allowed the young pup to get into trouble and tight situations and several attempts. As she grew older her size also increased, the humans wondered how she got do big but they loved her anyways.

Sadly, Karen and Alex had to let her go as the freedom they allowed her caused her to grow more wolf like and it was beginning to get out of hand. Although this didn't hurt the family to much, they knew Astro would remember them so they would be able to continue their trails to the forest without being eaten. But that wasn't the case, one day the families Rottweiler ventured to far out, alone into the forest - well the she-dog seen him as prey and brutally slaughtered the dog. After that the family eanted nothing to do with her - but it was their own mistake.

When she was three Ast visited the house several times trying to make it up to the family but they just shoved her off - one time she would seek for help when being shot in the leg and ending up injured for several days - again they didn't help. After that the watched from the shadows, seeing how her once loved family was getting on - that's when she seen the raid. The dog did step out of the shadows to help but it was then she remembered all the times she had shoved her off. The humans spotted her and called for help - but she just walked into the shadows and down towards the city.

Personality:
Astro is a very unpredictable dog who could snap at any time. This canines looks aren't deceiving, what you see is what you get - this dog looks bitter and evil? Yes, in some ways that could sum her up. Ast isn't the nicest, sweetest or most laid back canine you will meet, in fact sometimes she's completely the opposite. Most of the time Astro is an aggressive canine who is prone to snap whether she's provoked or not, and she doesn't show mercy on her victim unless she sees something in them. Astro is always stubborn and rather bitter, an aggressive and feisty dog with a short temper, hard to read her emotions which she rarely shows - but when she does it is very, very obvious something is going on with her. Yes, like some dogs Ast is very solitary and prefers to have herself as company, since her rough past still haunts her from time to time. A great fighting dog she is. But despite being as harsh and as bitter as she is, Astro does have emotions and is actually and emotional dog even though she doesn't show it. She doesn't trust or open up easy, but when she does you're lucky, she's protective and loyal also.

Brief History:
Cee was born an only child in a cramped animal shelter, her mother was weak and often ill, so it was no surprise when she died less than a week after Cee's birth. The kitten was then raised by humans from three days old to 2 months when there was an explosion at the shelter due to a natural gas leak. She managed to escape the flames and begin a new life a few towns away as a street cat, but she had to be removed from the lifestyle when she was attacked by a group of stray dogs, rendering her left eye totally blind.
 Cee was then adopted into a loving family of 3, with Kenith and Angie being the leaders of the house hold with their daughter Casside. It was only a few years later that World War III occurred, killing off her humans and leaving the city desolate.
 Due to her disability, Cee almost starved to death because she was unable to hunt, but a dog named Larkin *Below* found her before she did and helped her recover. The two formed a tight bond and now are inseparable.

Personality:
Cee is quite shy, tending to stay away from anyone besides Larkin. Due to her blindness, she is also very skittish and often acts without thinking. If you manage to get her to warm up to you, Cee will reveal that she is actually quite warm and welcoming, but it is hard to penetrate her mask.

Brief History:
Larkin doesn't remember much of his past beyond meeting Cee due to slight head trauma he had received as a pup. What he does remember includes that he had 2 brothers, their names he can not recall, and his parents were never around to care for them. He also remembers the day he had received his injuries, being beaten by a raider with a baseball bat within an inch of his life. When he met Cee, he finally found a purpose, and has been happily taking care of her since.
Personality:
Larkin can be quite protective of his friends, but he only has one friend who happens to be Cee, so this trait only comes out when she is being threatened. Once you break down his walls, he can be one of the most friendly dogs you will meet, but just like Cee it takes a long time to get close enough to become acquaintances with him.
