I watched a few episodes of Steven Universe and it's okay, I guess. Does it get better as it goes on? Since I just watched the first two episodes and I didn't think it was particularly interesting, but if it gets better I might continue watching it.

Yeah, towards the end of season 1. The episode called Mirror Gem is where it gets interesting.

Nah you should watch Dragon Ball.

Basically, a monkey boy meets up with a shape-shifting pig and makes friends with a dwarf to train with a cat, so he's strong enough to fight a bipedal slug.

So yeah, sounds pretty cool right? LOL
