I've been re-reading a really horrible TLK fan-fiction sort of thing I wrote a few years ago. For one, I inserted my own characters into the story as the main characters' family, two, the canon characters are super out of character, three, the writing is horrible. But yet, I'm still reading the entire thing. Sobs and cringes
