Discussion Board / Animation Testing...but not many Animations
« on: October 26, 2012, 10:05:32 pm »
Since I'm tired of watching my models sit and rot in my computer, I've decided to try and make a game with them. It's not like FH or anything like that [I don't have the skills or patience for it, nor am I using OGRE to do this], but I do want to eventually use the skills I learn to make some sort of demo that I can share with people.
Hopefully.
As you can see it's not that extravagant right now [there's more on my dA but it's not that awesome either LOL] since I'm just testing animations [if keystate is vertical play walk else play idle etc etc] to see if there are weight paint bugs, but I'm almost at the point where I can make a little controller so that certain animations will play when I press a certain key [like 'i' for sit, etc].
I have a list of basic things, but so far I'm stuck with the bare bones sit/walk/run/rollover/expressions. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions? I want to have as many animations done as possible before I go into actually testing a controller so that I can make sure that "toggling" keys actually work, which I won't be able to test with what I have now.
Hopefully.
