Do YOU get excited over a post boost?

It's actually kind of rare to me, so yeah, when I reached Elite Member I was really excited even by then. xD Next new star is a long, long ways away as Oreo said, but at least there's a fun goal to reach, as in becoming one of those rare members with dat post rank.

I wasn't actually aware we got 'ranked' as such for AGES. I was just like: Oh, these people must have earned those ranks from MODs or something. ~derps off to other things~

But then I went up one, and was like: OH. I UNDERSTAND.

So yes, I got quite excited. X'D

I try not to post aimlessly so I see it as a mark of relevance in the community. As in: "I've posted helpful/insightful/opinionated things throughout this forum and now I have another star to show for it!"

I used to get so excited about improving my 'rank' and adding my stars from my posts c: I kind of had a bit of an advantage (Since I used to be active in about 10 forum roleplays) because of said roleplays, but they've all disappeared with the Free For All Roleplay board being removed at whatnot.  Dunno... Not as forum-active as I used to be. Very close to Hero Member which has been a goal of mine for a while now

As many have stated before me, I too grow a little pleased with myself whenever I gain a new rank or additional star. It's like a small reward for me for my overall involvement with the forum side of the community.

Although I'm not as immensely dedicated as I used to be when I first got involved in the forums, I continue to participate whenever I can and I believe I'm nearin' the title of Elite Member if I'm not mistaken.
