Leaving / Re: We love you!

I never post as often as I should have

Back in the day of 2013 I was excited to create my first ever account on FH, thinking of a user name, making my first ever characters, seeing my first ever mate center- oof. It's been 5 years of being with in the community and to see it's ups and downs can be quite a roller coaster ride.
This game essentially started my love for IT servers, however it wasn't just the game itself. I had always looked up to the staff with such high regard and praise- being a part of a game and working for it to make it better? That blew me away. Trying my best to talk to them, to like some, to tolerate others, being near the lot of the staff always gave me something to look forward to while in game, especially before the patch, heh- good times. I suppose now I have my wish as I moderate for another game now, but I can never forget the feeling of a younger me happily beaming behind a screen watching the staff do their job and develop a functional relationship with the game and it's community.
Seeing the game in it's current state breaks many a heart, and ruins the safe space for a majority of people. There is only so much we can do, and only so much we can hope for.
I never thought I'd see the day where the the project if IT was supposed to end- come to an end. :'(

Oh my goodness
This is the opposite of what a functioning community looks like.
There are many things that can go wrong in the sense that-

1: Many movie spammers are blocked, but they are only looking for fellow role players- they aren't necessarily doing anything wrong, but it can come out as unjust and with almost no say in the matter.
2: What if a whole gang of trolling players decided to come together in order to get random players banned for no reason by creating a massive group that blocks many people at a time?
3: Players may in fact mass block a staff member of any kind resulting in an unfair ban as well.
4: The ban system has never been looked upon as good thing within this game, the record is as clean as the polluted ocean. Many people in the past have complained time and time again about being unjustly banned. DM's have been sent to countless staff members asking to give them a second chance, moderators having to say that they have no idea how to lift the bans, excuse after excuse. It is becoming a hassle just to play without the fear of someone looming over and just ready to remove you from the game.
5: How. Long. Do. The. Bans. Last. Is this system going to be a first time ban = 24 hours, Second time = a Week, The third time =  A Year, & the final straw is a perma-ban?

This may be me grasping at flimsy straws- but this just seems like an awful way to go about things within the game that is supposed to be a successor to IT servers. The hack of 2015 was something to come together and fix things for the better, but seeing this it seems things have fallen to the worst and should be reconsidered & thought out thoroughly before implementing strict rules over those who disagree.

Game Help / Re: Feral Heart keeps crashing

Having the same issue- I thought it was just my computer since this happened last year.
Kinda glad it's not just me this time though! I uninstalled everything as well and FH crashes just after the black code window pops up.
I heard the server is going to be reset soon though?
In other news I can enter the old versions of FH and FH+ just fine, it seems that just the new version is having trouble

You are not alone, I believe many people have this issue. It's most likely due to that part of the site being unprotected in some way. Owning ad block and things still pop up- I've tried right clicking and then typing though- seems to prevent them.
A suggestion would be to maybe just log into the forum it self with a connection to the game similar to the log in page, BUT I highly doubt that will be a thing anytime soon. A consideration though.

O my goodness I thought I was the only one, I really hope this gets fixed D: I loved running through the old maps

You might want to redirect this to a Game Help thread, staffers. I may be wrong though c:

But snuggy I've never had this problem myself. Are you uploading the FHP file that you exported from the Preset Maker? It will be in your normal 'Preset' folder once exported. It wouldn't reject you due to textures, but check over that you are uploading the right file! <3

AH, I see what you are saying- I was uploading it incorrectly~ I'm so used to IT servers I forgot FH works a little different. That actually helped XD Thank ye

Hmmm- I seem to have some sort of error stating that the preset I am trying to upload is either Invalid or flat out Not mine.
Is there something I am missing? Perhaps this is more intense than I thought and it checks for texture credit :'D
Other than that however, I don't quite see the issue D:

Maybe it is related to resolution? Otherwise, I do not know. Has this started happening with the new update or did this happen in older versions of the game?

The new version, the old one worked fine since it was on the opposite side.
I would like to get your mod, but I do like having more room to expand the chat box.
*huff*
The things that I wish were more clear in FH's coding XD

This sounds more of an installation/personal problem. I recommend installing FH into a new directory (i.e C:\NewFH or something like that) and seeing if that fixes your problem.

mm no- not really.
I've actually tried re-downloading the whole game and that didn't seem to work.
Though it wasn't just the map that was off for some reason, the text bar (you know the blinking line when you want to type) was also in a strange place rather than where it should be. Luckily I fixed it with messing with some of the placement coding for that.
So I was wondering if the same could be applied to the map itself. How ever if you are unsure, that is fine~ It isn't too much of a hassle :D
