The person above will die because when I looked up something and found Emeralds, here is one of the lines: Emeralds were used as amulets to ward off epilepsy in children and thought to cure diseases of the eye.

The funniest thing is, when I was thinking of my gemsona, I thought one of her eyes would be her gem. (Because I couldn't think of anything else, and I thought it'd be awesome for like an eye patch kinda thing XD) But then is said: "and thought to cure diseases of the eye."
