Game Help / Re: Cannot save character. Game acting odd

I checked your account in our database, and it looks like it hasn't been activated properly yet. You'll want to make sure that you've clicked on the link that was sent to the e-mail address that you used to sign up the account. Once you've done that, you should be able to log on within 48 hours or so.

If you've already tried that, make sure you're keeping the "Play Game" tab open while you play. If you're having problems staying connected, you may want to look into a page refresher. (If your computer is particularly derpy or has connection issues, this may be something you need to make sure you've got a solid connection.) The characters showing in a black void problem can likely be resolved by going to the main page/homepage of the website and accessing the "User Panel,' where you can reset and then send your characters home.^^

The character changes not loading might be resolved as soon as you fix the connection issues. However, it's not uncommon for that to happen, even with a decent connection. I myself have had character changes not saved, but I usually resolve it by making tiny edits and saving frequently, rather than trying to create an entire character to finality and saving it then. Unfortunately, we're not exactly sure why it happens.

Site/Forum Help / Re: Preset Sync Help
« on: April 05, 2019, 02:37:19 am »
Is it only happening to this one preset? (If you've only tried it with this one, try uploading another one belonging to a different character and see if you get the same results.) Are you trying to upload a preset file that is too big? If so, try checking out this thread for resizing. Something could have gone wonky with the export, so you may want to double check your preset files and make sure the coding is all good and then re-export, and upload the re-exported version. If you're still having problems, I would try waiting a few days in case something's just weird with the Sync itself or if it's receiving a lot of traffic. If it doesn't work after that, I would recommend re-installing the Preset Sync.

You could try scoping through the Preset Sync thread for any potential comments that might relate to your issue, as well. Perhaps, someone was able to resolve a similar issue.

Hope this helps. c:

First of all, if you pronounced LordSuragaha's name anything other than Sura-GAH-HAH when you first read it, you're wrong. > :c

Morgra was Morga. I still called her this well into her MIT training. I hope she doesn't notice or remember.

I still sometimes pronounce Sigyrn's name as Sigyn/SIG-IN.

Delija I called Deijah (DAY-ZHUH).

Most of these are more of my pronunciation than misspelling. There are many more, of which I cannot recall at the moment.

Ninjas like lurking in the dark.

Ninjas like to floof quietly.

Generally speaking, yes, I do get curious, although I think it's nice that there is no emphasis on indentifying the people who gave the floof, as that would perhaps slightly alter the point of it existing at all. When one sees who recognizes him, he in turn recognizes that person. Potential stirs for a scratch-my-back-I'll-scratch-yours cycle. Subsequently, it becomes less about the person receiving the floof and giving kudos to his behavior and more about establishing rapport and generating attention.

Forum Discussion / Re: What's your favorite type of roleplay?
« on: February 27, 2019, 01:46:06 am »
My favorite roleplays to participate in were semi-realistic; I've dabbled a little in literate roleplays, and while they can be very immersive, they can sometimes take a while to set up and can be very demanding time-wise on the individuals involved. So, if you only have a certain amount of time to play online but still want to keep the plot moving in a progressive way that is still immersive, semi-lit is an excellent way to go.

I have a soft spot for roleplays with a very small number of people involved, as well. One-on-one roleplay can be very fun if you have a plot that can be pursued by only two people; if you have an ongoing plot that requires a lot of people to be present and only one other person is online, some very interesting subplots can be made while the two people online try to buy time without furthering the main plot. (Kind of like filler episode.) A lot of my favorite roleplay memories were made from side plots when other people weren't around.
