How to write on signs? (NEW UPDATE)

Hiya guys and girls. I was really wondering how to write on the signs that are given to us in Map Maker. I have seen that in Lonely Cave the signs have writing on them.

Please help because I want to add them to some of the maps I'm making.

You could probably do so by re-texturing the mesh object. To do so I believe you would have to edit the .jpg (I think its .jpg anyways) texture image that comes with the mesh in a program like gimp or photoshop. Though in order to make sure it doesn't save over the plane mesh, I would save the image as a new texture and copy the .MESH file and rename it so you have yourself a separate, new mesh.
