Roleplay idea, need opinions

I'm pretty new to FeralHeart, but I think I've learned the ropes (with help from some friends, of course). I thought of an idea for a roleplay and I wanted to get some opinions on it. I do have experience in running group OUTSIDE of FerallHeart, but if I make this one, it'll be my first time in-game, so bear with me! xD This topic isn't neat either but eh. Don't steal any of the information or images below, it took some time to come up with what I have so far.

Hey floofs of FeralHeart! I have and idea for a group. No, I don't want this to be one of those mega-serious-write-10000-paragraphs-or-die sort of thing, I'd rather it be more loose, with an open plot driven by the groups members while roleplaying, and a casual feeling OOC. If roleplaying isn't your cup of tea, you could just chat instead. Of course, myself having roleplayed on multiple forums in the past would prefer a more approach, but again, nothing too intense.

This roleplay will be based of prehistoric felines. So smilodons, Ngandong tigers, etc. Character customization will be very open, so long as people stay away from fully neon sparklecats. Hints of unnatural colors will be allowed here and there, but natural colors would be highly recommended. The behavior and appearance of these will be based off of scientific models and modern big cats, since the main focus of this roleplay is extinct animals.

Now, onto the subject of hybrids. I know a some of you would like to see a hybrid between two different felines, but realistically this would be near impossible. Even with big cats today, hybrids usually are infertile or have very low fertility/sterility (meaning that it impossible/nearly impossible for them to have cubs), they have a ton of health issues, can die prematurely, or might not be possible all together. I'm not sure how realistic hybrids will be when this is released, but if hybrids are included at all there would certainly be some limitations.

None of this information will be final. If you have any suggestions or questions, I'd love to hear them! What I mostly need is an idea for the setting. Will this take place in an alternate Earth, the physical past(though some details will have to be worked out), will a group of scientists create living replicas of extinct cats (this will allow for some modern animals to be incorporated in), etc. Suggestions for other aspect of the group would be appreciated as well.
(Also looking for someone to help me put this together, a second group owner of some sort.)

Sounds interesting, I am fairly new to feral heart, but I am certainly no "noob" to roleplaying, and I have been roleplaying ever since I  was little. I do a lot of rps with random people online and usually they are really fun. I will let you know what I like to get out of a roleplay and stuff that I like and also stuff I hate about certain rps, so that maybe it will give you a few ideas for your rules and all that. Hope it helps you put together a good roleplay!

Now I will state that I am more of a hardcore roleplayer who prefers some structure in an rp, so I apologize if my opinions seems bias, you can do whatever you want to your rp, I am just explaining right now that I do not seek to offend anyone, so please understand. Thanks.

What I like out of an rp:

-some realistic aspects along with fantasy concept

-No chat abbreviations during and while typing in rp (Out of character chat is fine in my opinion to use things like "lol" and "brb")

-Fair rules that do not condemn certain creative aspects for specific roleplayers

-Mods dealing with problems calmly and rationally (I.E no flipping out and yelling at people)


What I hate being done in rp:

-Use of sexualities when roleplaying as characters that don't have a concept of sexuality (For example: If your a wolf or another non-human animal in an rp you should not be making your character an LBG or T character, human characters this would be okay for)

-Other players not following protocol (Basically in short when it is a realistic rp and people are coming in as rainbow wolves with fairy wings and unnatural fur/eye colors it annoys me and makes it less engaging, that description is completely random by the way XD)

-People not using "(" or "{" or "[" when speaking out of character to separate their rp lines from general chatting

-People not using "*" or "-" to separate actions from lines when doing free verse rp

-Poor grammar and abbreviations during rp


That is all I really have, a lot of other more hardcore or strict roleplayers can agree with me usually, but like I said this is only my opinions and I am sharing it with you just to maybe give you a few ideas for how you should run your rp. But you can of course do whatever you want since it is your rp! Good luck and I hope this helped you out some, I wish I could give you some good ideas for it but I would need to know your ideas first and how you want things to work.

Whooooaaa. This is totally something that I would be into. I used to be in a strictly Smilodon role-play for a bit back in 2014, I believe, & it was really fun. I really like the banner you made, btw. I think it looks really professional & well put together. It's not overcrowded, & it's simple, yet creative enough that it's one-of-a-kind.
