*BUG; Unable to change password.
« on: June 20, 2016, 12:22:10 am »
Hi! I have an account I need to change the password to.
Whenever I attempt to change it; it resets to the old password it was before i.. changed it? #1 explination.

Anyway, either or, I'm unable to change my password.
I'm aware that this might be a bug with the current site updates that are going on, but thought I would ask what else could be going on?
Thanks! -Dalek

Most likely sounds like a bug with the new site update. I would suggest PMing a staff member in order to resolve the problem c:

I've never been able to change passwords for anything. It always resets.
Has been a bug for a long time.
Can't say I know of a fix, could use one myself. xD

Before you had to use the site login/yellow box and then user details in order to change your ingame password. The information for accounts lays about in more places and so your password info needs to be too, hence it's not always as straight forward as just going on the forum and changing it.

Since the site is being re-worked certain functions might be incapable to go through properly until it all has been sorted, and there's not much that can be done other than waiting it out til Raz has been able to go through most of it, which might be some time.
