Frozen at Start up - FIXED
« on: July 07, 2013, 05:16:08 pm »
Murr, alright.
When clicking the icon for Feral heart, the orge setup does open.

But once I click ok, I get stuck in a grey square of doom

I'm used to it giving me that square for a minute or so, but this has gone on for over and hour.
 I have reinstalled everything
 Got the patch

Hmm, did you install a certain map or preset? Markings? Items? If not, did you edit any preset folders?

Like iKitten said, it could have something to do with something you downloaded. Sometimes when you re-install, the map files aren't affected. I would check and see if there are double particle files in one of your folders or double of anything. Sometimes the files get mixed up and cause certain things to happen, like your loading screen. Other times it crashes your game.

But it could also be because of the server problem right now. If you cannot find anything wrong in your files, then it could be the server. In that case, I would wait a few hours and see if you can get in.

Hope this helped somewhat.

Remember he can't get on the splash screen (KovuLKD and such), so it isn't.

Well that sounds like a weird problem. Do your graphic card support 3D games like Minecraft, etc?

Have you tried to switch your rendering setting from OpenGL to Direct3D9? It might help with the program rendering

Like other users mentioned, it could have been something to do with your downloads. When my FH crashed, it took me a while to figure out that it was a map I downloaded that stopped my game to work properly. ;)

Even though it was nice of you to add an input, try not to post a solution to an already solved thread in the future. Look for threads that have been unsolved but might have a similar situation.
