I haven't! I wish I could go, though. I will be going to New Zealand soon, which isn't too far away from there!

The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?

Why are you going to that place?

Oh, just on vacation. My family is full of nerds, so we all want to see where The Hobbit was filmed. New Zealand also had a wide array of wonderful landscapes, glow worm caves, mountains, incredibly blue lakes, etc.
