Well I remember some time back ago I made a trend congratulating Lord when she "graduated" from MIT to actual staffer, so I shall do the same for you. I know for sure you will be a wonderful edition to le staff oUo, they need more fluffy buns like you in there that's for sure.

Miscellaneous Tutorials / Feareh Tutorial: How to properly put a Avatar or Signature on

Hello guys, and welcome to this small tutorial on how to properly put on a icon and or signature here on Feral Heart.
Now please fallow these step by step if you have no idea how to put a icon/signature and we'll get you set up.
NOTE: This tutorial was specially made just for Feral Heart. You can try this same steps for other forums if you want.

Ever had a icon that was about 200x200 and it looks crisp clear when viewed on Window photo preview, but then when you upload it on here it looks blurred or pixelated? Well I have the solution for you. First, Do you know the difference in computer resolution?
The right and left pictures were preformed in different ways when uploading in on here. One from a Direct upload from my computer and the other a Directlink from Photobucket or Tinypic.com. Which one do you like best? Lets move on...
First you would make your picture in photoshop and or find a good resolution picture on the internet. Once you have that try to crop it to at least 200x200(sometimes 150x150 is a better option). When you do that find a good place to upload your picture (photobucket or tinypic.com are the best options)
Since I use Photobucket a lot this tutorial will be based on it. If you so happen to know of another file sharing site such as tinypic.com they use the same basic links as well.
First off upload your picture
Next when you are finishing uploading your picture then click it and there is displayed options on the right hand side. Since we are doing just Avatars you will be needing this link or similar Direct coding with a website link in it.
From there go into your profile page and on the left hand side there should be account tabs just for you..click on the one that says Forum Profile Information.
From there, you should see options for your avatar as well as some for your signature. The one you will be using will be the link where it requires a direct link. Get your coding from the website and place it here. After that you have uploaded a successful avatar.
Now using the "Upload from my computer" function works just as fine too, but why do you want to use a direct link coding instead of this.
Reason to use Direct instead of a Computer download
1) The resolution on the image is 2x more better and more crisp
2) Using the Direct link method allows you not only upload jpgs, but also gifs as well. So you cant upload a gif onto the other setting cause it will not work.
With that saying, this ends the tutorial on Avatars
Signature
For signatures we will be doing almost the same steps but will be using a different link this time. We will be using the IMG coding this time.
Go back to your file sharing site and find this link. It should be a IMG link if not then chances are it wont work to well. After that fallow the same steps as the Avatar by going into the Forum Profile Information and this time, go in your signature box.
After you click that then it will give you options such as "Signature" which is what you want. From there you just input the IMG coding you have gotten and then save it. In a few minutes or so you will have a signature.
And If you've done all the steps correctly then you have successfully uploaded a prefect signature. Now just a note that0 there is a size limit to this as well, you are able to see how much space you have left when you look at the number grid underneath the signature box. You can upload jpg, and gifs in the signature box as far as I know of.
With all this said, this ends the tutorial on Adding a signature to your profile.
For more further questions fell free to shot me a PM and I will try my best to help out. I do hope you find this small tutorial helpful for some of you younger members out there getting used to the forum setting.

Game Discussion / Rant: Judged bases of off looks and group

Ok so this has been on my mind for a good long time and I want to get this out there so all can hear.
Why do people judge you because you are in a group that's all neon, or because of bad history. Do people automatically think your bad cause of the way you look or because you joined a group that had a bad rep from the start.
First off I do not like to be judge based off the people I hang out with nor the way I look. You should base a person off there actions and there attitude towards other people and there surroundings. Now I would bring in one of my personal topics which involves my family group. This topic was brought in the TEC group from time and timeout..some saying
"We have a bad rep cause people think we are a trolling group. So its sad to think that when people join they are labeled as trolls from the start"
or
"People just don't like us cause we used to be a lot different back then."
This is coming off from me personally and I do think about this ALOT. So just cause I am in TEC doesn't mean im a bad person(Troll) nor anyone else who joins the group. Ive chatted with all the TEC members and each and everyone of them are good hearted people with there own human flaws. I went into TEC and end up having a wonderful group of friends/family I would do anything for. But I cant make everyone have the same views sadly:/
But this rant isn't geared towards my group alone, This goes for every individual out there based on there looks are labeled as trolls. If you wanna run around as a bright neon colored wolf or loin, I say go for it.
Let the world see your floofy colors.
Or if your in a Warrior Cat group, I say be proud and just enjoy being in a cat clan

Awwwww, yeah. Check out these new legendary Pokemon. You have to admit they at least look cool enough to play the game.
So what do you guys think of this new generation?What starter Pokemon do you think you will play as?
Do you think it's going to have more dumb looking Pokemon as ever before, or do you think the game is just to cool to not to play? I for one can't wait till this comes out? -shakes with excitement-

Ok so this is a topic I do hold dear to me since im a person who is strongly against bullying. But from time to time on Feral heart or just in general where you go, people get bullied...why is this? So Im making this to rant to all you young people who are in middle school or anything like that in general. Basic topic do pretain to actual events that have happned when I sometimes play FH. Now have you ever heard something like this from someone:
"No you cant be that species. I clearly made and established that and you are in violation to make it again"
"Your character looks to much like me, you need to change it NOW"
"I made this species all by myself and I demand you to change it and get ride of the species now"
Typical overdramatic comments, but heres when it turns to personal to me. When someone says something like this:
"If you dont change your character now then I will tell a staff member and they will deal with you. I know them and they will listen to me cause im a good friend of theres."
...really...its like a child going to tell there mom that they did this and that. This rant isnt geared twords anyone in particular. But ive spend a great deal of time on FH to see this happen to so many people. To me this is a sign of bullying and something that FH isnt about. Feral Heart is about making floofy friends, and Rping with species and or animals. Let me get this out there for everyone to hear.
Please dont use staff members as a way to scare someone to do something for you when the thing you are wanting is really meaningless." Staff are here to help others and keep everything in order, not as a tool for your personal reason to scare people into changeing your features or species discription. I do however am strongly against actually copying someone to the very detail. Like if i were to go around and impersonate one of my good friends without them knowing, then thats copying. There is a fine line between copying, and looking slightly similar. Its like saying Burger King copied McDonalds cause they sell the same thing and have the same thing, but are clearly not. Also, take this into consideration when i also say this too.
"Literily ever kind of species has already been created and some arnt even that new. Such as Werewolves, Warrior cats, Demons, Ghost, more dead thing, Lion pride with mom and dad dead or left, Guardians,Robot, Lava you know the rest. Actually some of my personal characters i based off of old foketale Japanese beliefs. There is nothing wrong with geting insperation from another to make something for yourself.
So for all you new floofs out there, here are some tips for you in times like these
1) Talk it out in a mature way
Just chating it out to see if you can compromise is always good.
2) Block them
If its just geting to out of hand for you then blocking them is the tool for you. The block tool was made for a reason. to block the people that are giving you trouble. Use this and you wont see em ever again.
3) Tell a staff/screenies
Staff are there for you and to make sure you have a good time during gameplay. If you are ever being bullied its best you bring it up to a staff member so they might help you out. But only use this when its geting way way out of hand. Remember you still got that block tool
I am always on the quiet side when drama does start, but when i do see bullying i do stand up. I mean i lost the ability to use my right arm for 5 years cause of bullying. But as a reminder for all you new people out there. Let your imagination flow and make any species you want. So i say go make a ghost species, or demon species, or unicorn species., etc. And rememeber to just be nice about it when you end up finding someone who slightly has similar traits as you. Hey you dont see me going all loco when i see a jaguar that has the same pelt as me, or every single skull character out there as well. Baku has a skull face and if i do come across someone who happens to have a skull face i dont go on a rampage. on a endnote just have fun and enjoy the game as it is.
