Very unique! The link works fine for me, so it might be a security firewall on your end toons? Not sure, but I can connect!

I might have to take a peek and check it out~ c;

Thank you! On both accounts, actually. I've been looking into the issue as well and I think you're right. There are a handful of people that have submitted tickets to Proboards support for the issue over the last few months.

Feel free to stop by anytime and chat with us! We'd be more than happy to answer any questions that you have regarding the roleplay, plot or whatever you might need. Even if you decide in the end not to join...I'm honestly having fun just chatting about it and getting feedback.

Sounds interesting! I wish you a lot of luck with your group! I will say the provided link doesn't seem to work though, unfortunately!

Oh? I wonder what's going on with it! werifesteria . freeforums . net

Animal & Non Human Roleplays / Infidelis-A Stray Dog Roleplay
« on: January 26, 2018, 01:33:25 am »
http://infidelis.boards.net/page/welcome

Infidelis is a stray dog RP set in the city of Komorrah, which is similar to the northeastern United States. Infidelis is a story of survival where a bunch of challenges await each character. Four rival dog gangs, humans, diseases, and natural disasters threaten your character's existence, among others. You can choose to join one of these gangs or tough it on your own - either way, the choice is yours to make.

We are an intermediate fluid-time, timeline-based roleplay with a five sentence minimum and a plot that is created by you as time goes on! Each and every character at Infidelis shapes history, making you part of our history, too!

We are looking for active and involved roleplayers to join us and make friends! We strive for an extremely friendly, player-devoted atmosphere. Check us out, kick off your shoes, stay awhile!

There were always three dog gangs inhabiting the city of Komorrah...

The Dodgers. The swift ones, who prowled the alleys as well as rats.

The Crabs. The sure-footed ones, who could climb any cliff face along the ocean.

The Yardies. The fierce ones, who watched over the humans' belongings.

Everything changed when the humans left the scrapyard, abandoning the Yardies. Hungry and desperate, they began to push the Dodgers out of their territory. Already considered a disgrace by the other gangs for serving humans, they became the bane of both the Dodgers and the Crabs-who are now forbidden from drinking water in the park. Something must be done...

Current Plotpoints

Greed Destroys Us

Water is scarce. Aside from the rains, the Crabs and the Dodgers aren't getting much at all. The Yardies are hoarding the lake's supply for themselves, leaving none for everyone else. After a recent confrontation, Tobi and Honcho came to an agreement to team up against the Yardies and put a stop to their selfish ways. The Crabs' head healer, Fedosia, proposed that the packs collect buckets to catch the rain water. The two packs are now working together to acquire the tools for the task-even going so far as to sneak past the Yardies and gather water from the lake.

A Healer's Dilemma

Border skirmishes are on the rise. Landmarks are being held and taken and blood is drawn. All of the gangs' healers are at a disadvantage. Kenna, the Yardies' healer, is struggling to perform her job without the Man Who Feeds to support her. Fedosia, the Crabs' healer, can't restock certain plants-Unless she treks across Yardie territory to get to the forest. And Canula, the Dodger's healer, no longer has access to the park. We need a solution.[/span][/div]

Fun Fact Of The Day

The Yardies are the newest gang in Komorrah. They've been living in the Scrapyard for generations, but under human rule. For this reason, the other gangs are very wary of them.

News 'n Updates
Wolves have come to Komorrah. They call themselves the  Hunters, they have trekked over the mountains to escape a terrible, tyrannical ruler. They're looking for a brand new life.

Dodger and Yardie Vice Boss auditions are closed! Welcome Bones and #5137 to the Dodgers gang and Reaper and Pandora to the Yardies!

We have permanently lifted our character limit, you can now have unlimited characters. Go nuts!

High Ranks
Remember that we are still open for high rank positions for the wolf pack and for (second in command)Crab Vice!

Currently we are auditioning for Vice Bosses. What are Vice Bosses, you ask? They are the second in command to the Boss, advisers to the leader. Vice Bosses organize the day's events, who will be going where, and act in place of the Boss if the Boss is not around, among other things.

Each pack can have up to three Vices, one of those being the senior Vice that will take over when the Bosses pass. He will then choose his own Senior Vice from the current Vices.

We are also auditioning alpha, beta, and Shawolf for the Hunter wolf pack. One alpha will be chosen, one Shawolf, and one beta. Currently only alpha is open, but once the alpha is chosen, we will open beta and shawolf.

Today's Adoptable Character Spotlight!

Meet Abram!

Abram is a very even tempered, slow moving, short sentenced old dog. Well. We think. Most of time is spent in a drowsy, just woke up state so you could basically do anything and he'd be okay with it. He really doesn't care. There have been many instances of house mothers racing over to find their charges clambering all over a sleeping or just...quiet Abram. He really is a gentle sweetheart when you get him to talk. His voice is deep and gruff, but he would harm no one.

Even so, Abram is known as the gatekeeper. He really doesn't do any scouting...in fact, Abram has been given the duty of guarding the main entrance to the labyrinth instead. You'll often find him there sound asleep, snoring away. He has a sixth sense of intruders coming in, it would seem. Abram will lift his enormous body from his resting place and block your way if he doesn't want you coming through. He is as stubborn as a mule when he doesn't want to let you into the alleys. He will often give a short response. "You are not getting through." or something like that.

He also has a special purpose known only to Dodgers; and their prisoners...he's a tracker. Any dog that 'belongs' to the Dodgers will slice a paw and smear their blood on a wall-and Abram will come to smell it. Once he has your blood scent, he will find you.

Plotted Adopts!

A litter of pups is dropped off in the streets, and through various different ways end up spread across the entire city-and are taken in by Yardies, Crabs, and Dodgers. They like their gangs, but eventually find each other and decide to keep up their relationship at all costs, even while staying true to their adopted families.

Characters / Nayeli+Niru
« on: May 04, 2014, 10:35:21 pm »
Nayeli and Niru. My favorite wolfish pair, and a subject purely of my own creation.

Niru is half wolf, half Siberian Husky. He and his siblings were, classically, ready to be adopted at the age of eight weeks.
Niru, however, for no fault of his own, didn't go home with a human that day. His mother, Kya, fearing that her master would not take
her son back to their home that night, took him to his father to watch him until daybreak, where he would get a second chance at finding a new master.
Niru's father, the black wolf, Niju, was not one to look after pups, and lost his son during the trek back to his territory, in a small snowstorm.
Thinking his weak young son had high tailed it back to the safety of his pet dog mother, Niju did not set out to find the pup when he realized the small wolf-dog's
absence. When Niru's mother came to retrieve her son in the morning, Niju realized his blunder, but it was too late. After a day of searching the aftermath of the snowstorm, Niru was believed dead, and the search for him ended.

Nayeli is a pure blood wolf pup, and the one that found little Niru after the snowstorm. He had survived the night unscathed, but he was lost and hungry.
Nayeli and Niru became fast friends, playing together that morning as they searched for Niju and Kya. Nayeli's parent's eventually called for their daughter to return home. Nayeli happily invites her new friend to meet her parents, who are shocked when they discover the mixed race pup tumbling home with Nayeli.
Having a soft spot for youngsters, Nayeli's parent's invite Niru to stay with them until they find his parents.

Alright, I already checked out the website, but there is something that may become a minor issue. I try to get on as much as I can. I am usually online on Fridays, and/or Saturdays, and/or Sundays. But, when I get on, I'm not on for only an hour, I'm on all day. And school is almost out, meaning I will be on almost every single day for a few months.

This is perfectly alright, we have a sector of our forum dedicated only to posting your absence, or the reason why you can't be online for whatever reason. As long as you have an explanation in there, you're good. The reason why we've made that inactivity rule so strict is because sometimes people join and then don't tell us they're leaving, and we need to remove their characters from the listings.
Just be sure to get a post in our forum and you'll be fine.

I'd certainly love to join this. Is there any application to fill? And also, how many characters are allowed per user?

We don't have an application to fill, but its recommended to read through our website before joining. You're allowed as many character's as you'd like, but you MUST be active on every one of them, or the inactive ones will be removed from the group listings.
