 I love Bengal Tigers. Not sure why, but Bengals are more... plentiful, you might say, so I guess I'm lucky that that's the species that has the best chance of surviving... I love every single one, but Bengals are just better in my mind (heh heh). They ish AWESOME.

Hm... Custom, I think. If you have any odd-colored animals, I don't think you'd always like to have brown paw pads. It won't make a big difference, but it's still nice to have that much more freedom with creating your character.
