Game Help / Computer not working
« on: October 26, 2014, 12:20:26 pm »
I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in off topic board, admin can move it if it should.
Anyways my computer has stopped working few days ago(windows xp). At first it would freeze or start acting weird when I'd leave it on for a while, without interacting with it(that usually happened while playing 3d games).
After it happened few times, blue screen started showing up. It happened maybe 3 times, and I restarted every time since I thought it will stop showing. Nope. The next time I restarted when blue screen showed up, the monitor, mouse and keyboard didn't turn on. Only the monitor made some weird sounds like it keeps turning on and of.
The next day I managed to turn it on, the machine beeped a lot and turned on. I started to upgrade antivirus and went to study math. When I returned, blue screen. Again. This time though I managed to see that there is some kind of error, title was page written in nonpaged area, well, something like that, andthere was lots of zeros with 50 on end. I also saw name of some file called win32k.sys. I made a research and found out it affects usb connections and such and I also found a fix for it.
The only problem is I can't turn on computer so I can fix it. When I turn it on only the machine is working, it doesn't beep like it usually does and the monitor is black, while keyboard and mouse only turn lights on for a single second. My computer might be old but it was useful while it was working. Any help will be useful. :(

Other Games / Wildlife park 3
« on: June 03, 2014, 02:31:17 pm »
Hello there!  ;)
Few days ago I got a game called: Wildlife Park 3.
If you have no idea what WP3 is about, I'm going to explain.
Wildlife park 3 is similar to Zoo Tycoon 2. There are about 25 species to choose for your zoo or wildlife park. It also has few missions to play and it has freeplay mode. You can actually build your won wildlife park in missions and freeplay mode, but sadly not all the animals can survive on their own. Herbivores should be alright, but carnivores not really(I'll explain why). There is a bunch of customizing tools and you can progress your zoo from 1 star to 5 star zoo. In general, the game has okay graphics and can kill some boredom, and it costs below 10$, so you should buy it if you find it interesting.

Now let me explain some game problems.
I have mentioned carnivores like lions can't survive alone in wild. Why? Because of their poor hunting, and the disease festering cut being seen as a non-dangerous disease. Lions are too civil to approach their prey until they're starving. Then they will attempt sneaking while walking in the same line and crashing into each other(instead of making good hunting tactic) while the prey is frightened, and they don't notice it. And while they approach the prey about 3-4 times(they usually need to stop before attacking the prey, but the prey keeps running) they manage to claw it. Until that happens, most of the lions are starving and fall ill with malnutrition. And what happens? Since festering cut here can't infect and become more serious, prey continues to escape and recover, while lions eventually give up. Few of them die and rare lions that are strong enough to eat will eat their unlucky pride members. That's how food chain works. :p

Second thing that frustrates me is the fact that herd animals don't really bother to migrate a lot, nor to stick together. Everyone minds their own business as long as they're in their herd range, PLUS they stay in place that has most food(most of them must stand to graze, then move to find new place, then do it again...)and don't even attempt to discover new places and migrate. Maybe the grass is greener there?-sigh-

Well, that's all I have to say, if you have any tips for these game problems our would like to discuss about it(maybe ask me some questions?) and if you'd like to share some of your screenshots feel free to! :3

Discussion Board / I'm going insane because of- ADWARE.
« on: May 22, 2014, 11:26:52 am »
I went on Shockwave's site to play Let's get Cooking. It was a nice game and I enjoyed playing it but it was diner time so I just went to the kitchen while the game was still on. And then I heard that sound I hate-BEEP. After I finished the diner, I went back to see, guess what? Adware virus. I did not download anything and I was very confused since Shockwave is safe site. I removed the virus and Avira started a quick scan. After few seconds(scan was done) I heard another BEEP. It happened for about 4 times, then I went on Avira answers. I was not the only victim, and I was glad because of it. But there were no answers in any of Adware virus threads. I googled a little but I did not find anything useful. Last time warning popped up(when I turned on my computer) it said:
Security Alert
Date/Time: 22.5.2014, 13:05:29
Type: Detection

Access to file'C:\Program
Files\FindRight\bin\FindRightBAAPP.dll'
containing the virus or unwanted program
'ADWARE/SwiftBrowse.A' was blocked.

You can remove the file or get more
information about the problem.

If you are unsure, ask the community or get
live help on Avira Answers.

          Go to Avira Answers
     Remove             Details

I'm so annoyed by it that I don't even click 'remove' anymore! Help me how to remove it, please! :c

Other Games / Re: Who is your Spirit Animal?
« on: April 24, 2014, 08:02:05 pm »
You are a Hawk! (your score: 27)
27

Characters: Galen, Thera, Zilus in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; Maxine in "The Wild's Call"

Powers: Communicate with the divine, discern powers in others, photographic memory

Hawks are the messengers of the Spirits. Adept with language, you might be a writer or a teacher. Your ability to assess situations impartially means that people often seek your guidance before making decisions. A brilliant visionary, you sometimes forget the mundane details of life like eating, sleeping, or paying bills.

Best matches: Owls, Foxes, Spiders

Watch out for: Otters, Bears, Horses

Looks like I'm the only hawk here. X3 I hoped I'll get wolf, but I was honest when answering since I wanted to find out my real spirit animal. .3.

Game Discussion / Re: Mate Begging
« on: April 13, 2014, 08:35:13 pm »
The mate begging... Luckily I managed to avoid it but I have seen people have lots of problems with this. They mostly hang out in fluorite and bonfire is what they call home, especially because of mate centers. Those mate beggars are just too lonely and desperate to find a relationship and probably forget it after few hours. Still that doesn't mean they are allowed to annoy you or any other users. Enough blabbing about not so needed stuff, you need to chase them away from you. How? First, block button is your friend. They can't see you, you can't them, nor you can talk. Second, you can just redirect them to mate centers and kindly tell them that you aren't interested. If they are "mods", again, ignore them since you can't get reported because of saying no and walk away.
In short: Ignoring does wonders.

Request/Find Meshes / Re: Need doe meshes!
« on: April 13, 2014, 08:25:05 pm »
It's been a really long time since I've been on Feral Heart. I'm noticing a lot of requests for animal and human meshes. Are these just to be used as objects for decorating the area in attempt to make it seem more realistic, for people to wear on their characters, or do they actually have creatures that roam around in game now?

I'm sorry if my question seems a little off topic to your post, but if you could give me an answer, I might be able to help you. Also, I'm not sure what buck mesh you're talking about, but I could probably make a doe from scratch for you.
1.Search buck mesh on deviantart, I think it's in FH's gallery, type "realistic buck mesh".
2.I didn't really understand your question, but I want it so it can be realistic and people can enjoy map if I decide it to be public. All I request is antlers to be removed, with mesh staying same, maybe a little different since doe isn't same as deer or buck. Adding a few white spots for the fawn would be nice too. Also if you make it, share it on forums, I'm sure people will appreciate it and use it.

Request/Find Meshes / Need doe meshes!
« on: March 12, 2014, 05:07:18 pm »
So I'm making my first map, and it's theme is woodlands. I searched  everywhere but all I found is Wombat pack deer mesh and realistic buck mesh. Now what I want are the same meshes but without antlers, still any mesh would be fine with me since I want my animals to be realistic at least. .3.

Site/Forum Help / Wrong number of in-game players!
« on: March 11, 2014, 01:05:14 pm »
Sometimes I want to see number of players in private maps so I go online and check it on homepage. Now here's the problem: it either says 773 players or normal number, but it won't show how many people are on maps then, so when I move my arrow to right (773 players), example, it says 5 people on MasaiMarawetseason. I enter the map and I'm completely alone. How can I fix this thing and be able to see normal numbers again?

Awesome ideas, it could be really useful for fantasy animals. Still it creeps me out when I think of lion/wolf approaching to me with about 5 eyes. o_o
