I tried everything here, Changing my password + username was the only way to get it to let me log in. Thanks.

Game Help / Can't login, Password incorrect error

Can log into the forums and the main website (ie if i wanted to change my password, I could.)
Capslock not on. Not using the numpad (an error thats been in fh since 2013)
Tried restarting client & my computer.
Get game locking up before the error popped up
Am i the only one with this phantom bug?
Is there a fix? Something I can do? Kind of annoyed if I'm honest. Had this for three days.
EDIT: Tried to get the client to force-ban me for the 15 minutes with incorrect password, but it wont actually ban me.

* Get stuck on loading screens when making new characters (observed a few days ago)

so, like, party pooper here, sorry. is this legal. because it sounds like the source code was stolen and im genuinely curious if this brings up copyright issues.
edit: im as excited as anyone else that the game is going to be seeing these changes as it desperately needs them but maybe it was just poor choices of words on the staffs part? they're being extremely anonymous about how they got the source code especially after how when kovu abandoned the game, he himself said that he wasnt going to give it out to the staff- he gave up on the game, didn't he? i dunno, maybe its the 6 year hiatus i took.

Got the activation link via mail, click it, Log in, and it brings me to a black page with no text, and I'm unable to log in via the login panel/ the user panel.
Tried going in and resetting the password to be encountered with this;
Anyone know what the story might be?
Note that I've tried three different browsers, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Google Chrome.

I was curious though, for one of the options, could be like...a hybrid of some sort and then the users could type out the hybrid of creature / animal(s) they would represent or does it just revolve around 'real' / 'purebred' animals(?)Hybrids can easily be marked as "chimera"'s tbh.

Whenever I attempt to change it; it resets to the old password it was before i.. changed it? #1 explination.
Anyway, either or, I'm unable to change my password.
I'm aware that this might be a bug with the current site updates that are going on, but thought I would ask what else could be going on?
