Phase (1) of my FeralHeart Map Making Tutorial is complete. This is a very easy to follow, step by step picture based instructional guide that describes in vivid detail every process needed in order to build a custom map from scratch using the Photoshop like image manipulation program called *GIMP*

This Tutorial Includes the following

* Instructions for Creating a basic heightmap
* Breakdown of Greyscale cartography how it works and how to use it
* Instructions for creating your Alpha maps / Terrain mask
* Instructions on how to apply textures
* Instructions on how to add objects and water, to your Terrain
* A various number of personal tips, and tricks I learned over the course of 1 1/2 years while making a total of 37 custom maps ( this includes, personal maps, RP based pack and Clan maps, private love nest, and little getaways ) for many different FeralHeart users.
     
This tutorial is designed to be viewed using *Windows live photo gallery* but it should work just fine with any image viewing program you decide to use
