Distant Plain Pride

This pride is branched off from another. The group of lions before this lived in peace and had no enemies. Zeke, the leader of that said pride passed away not too long ago. Before he died, he gave his pride to the only son he had, Evuku. After the death of his father, the pride was stricken with grief and was on the verge of falling apart. With the help of his sister Tia, Evuku made the decision to create a new pride. This is that pride.

My Law

Evuku's Law

No Auto-hitting, power-playing, etc. Any of the sort will be cause of warning. Failure to heed warnings will be cause of banishment. We are a (Semi) Realistic lion pride. This means that your Character(s) must have realistic lion colors and markings. Semi means that we can talk, but nothing super natural.

Fighting within the pride is legal, but only in my presence. If the fight gets out of hand then I will be forced to intervene.

When you post, please make it more then one word or three sentences. A paragraph, five sentences in the respectable minimum.

Cubs not born into the pride will not be tolerated under any circumstances. A female found harboring a stray cub will be punished and the cub killed.

The number of characters a player can have is unlimited. However, each character you apply is expected to be active in someway. If they are not then they will be removed from the pride.

Respect here is key. Lower ranks are not to openly challenge a higher rank unless consulting with me and having my permission to do so.

In-depth mating is to be taken to PM. If in-game please whisper each other. Not everyone else is going to want to read that.

Only two other males may join the pride. When the male cubs of the pride are old enough they will be chased off by the Leader.

Obey the rules, both mine and Evuku's. Repeated failure to do so will result in banishment.

The Ranks

King Male ruler of the pride. He enforces the rules, and is quick to put rowdy members in their places. The Dominant also has breeding rights to all females. (With that females permission).

Council This is made up of three members of the pride that are very close to the King in some way. Either they are his good friend, a close relative, or one that has proven themselves worthy. When the King dies, it is the council who will pick one of the two remaining males to rule. When the King is absent, they guide the other males into leading the pride while the King himself is away. The council is very well respected.

Subordinate These two males are younger then the King, but not by much. They are hand chosen by the Dominant himself. Under his wing, they rule along side him, one of whom will one day be King himself. Each has breeding rights to all females, except the Queen. (With that females permission).

Queen Favored by the King, she is the strongest of the females, falling into the role of the lead huntress. No male, other then the King, may court the Queen unless she advances on them first. When a new King has been chosen, it is his decision of whether to choose another Queen or leave the remaining one. A retired Queen trains any new Queen, taking her under her wing. Queens hold a high respected rank for the rest of their lives.

Huntress The females of the pride. They hunt and work together as a single unit, lead by the Queen. All females are designated cub-sitters for each other.

Heir The first born son of the King and Queen. He will not take power when the King as died. Instead he will take the second position of Subordinate when that male has been chosen by the council to be King. The heir is the only male cub born in the pride that will be permitted to stay after reaching maturity.

Juvenile Fresh out of cub-hood. These are the young adults of the pride. Males here will have a little while long until they are forced out of the pride.

Cub Born into the pride, these little guys spend a great amount of time exploring, playing, and sleeping. They are the future of the pride. Female cubs will stay in the pride all their lives, unless they decide to leave. Male cubs will be chased off after they have reached a mature age. This is to avoid mass inbreeding.

A gritty wind blew over the open desert, blowing through the eyeholes of a bleach white skull with a whistly noise that sounded kind of like it was saying "yeah sure." A picnick? Yeah right. In this goddamn desert? Everyone under the blazing sun knew Cloud hated the desert more than anything in the world; even Marsh. But so called "Captain Sarcasm" was back there, talking to himself and rolling around in the sand like a dying bug. So what? He didn't care. He was talking to a skull, for fuck's sake. His amber eyes were vacant as they stared at the skull -- they always were when he was alone in the open. Then, as the ripply shape of a living something began to form on the horizon, they changed. The former Whirling Winds owsla finally rolled onto his belly and glared at the shape, hoping it would just disappear so he could go back to doing nothing. Cloud tensed. It wasn't going away. This was where he usually disappearance, where he sought survival over anything, but something about this "mirage" caught his eye. Oh, hah. It looked kind of like Sky. "Huhu, dead people." Mahn, the heat was driving him insane now. Maybe he'd die soon? He hoped so -- then he wouldn't have to put up with all this burning sandy -Removed by Moderator-.
