It crashes the moment I start it.

Did you try to open the actual .exe and then click Direct3D? Mine crashed with the installer but worked whenever I clicked the actual .exe .

And how do I play? Does it require I must have a FH+ account?

I did the download thing and then it said "start the game" so I started it and it crashes :p

Alright, I created a virtual machine to rule out any possibility of there being anything to interfere with the game and installed FH+ on it.

Right after installing I had an issue where it would crash almost instantly after double-clicking the shortcut like you guys said.
My solution was to install the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer found HERE which seemed to fix everything.
HOWEVER this might have been an isolated solution for me but I still recommend you try just in case.

I've thought about it, and I think that it might be a few missplaced files.
Though that wouldn't explain why Podium ain't there.
It'd explain the white blobs though.

I checked the same area in game and found that, at least on my installation it looked normal so I have no idea what might be causing it. :/

I'll answer this and say no. Like it was before, FH+ is seperate from FH itself. ^^ So you don't have to delete FH to have FH+ to work.

I haven't tried the version this person uploaded, but having played FH+ before (In fact, I still think I have it on my computer...) I'll speak from what I remember. I do remember it well enough, though, I think so.

So basically, FH+ has new textures and stuff and a few edits to maps, like for example Ficho may have had a staircase/"rock"case that lead up the waterfall instead of you having to go to Lonely Cave 'n stoof. (But remembering how it was, I'm not even sure if there is a Lonely Cave...?) There are in fact a few new maps, too, but since FH+ has been taken down I doubt there will be many people coming to the FH+ maps.

Although again, some maps from the original game may still be there, just edited slightly with textures and a few minor changes like I mentioned above.

So basically, yes, people will be in the maps, especially the original ones. x3 It's just the original with a few others I think, to sum it up since what I said may be confusing. lol.

As someone who played FH+ as it was updated before it was taken down and this one I can answer you. uwu

This version they have is one of the older or first ones. It includes the maps

- Bonfire
-Ficho Caverns
-Endless Plains
-Watermil
-Temple of Dreams
-Cape of Distant Worlds

In the default maps that are included that FH has you can see other players that are in the maps; but they may appear floating or off as the FH+ maps are edited and have features/meshes the originals do not. (Bonfire is a very good example of this.) And on the reversal anyone in the default maps using normal Feral Heart while you're in them on FH+ will see you floating as you stand on rocks, hills and other things that aren't normally in the default maps on normal FH. If that makes sense?

- Lonely Cave
- Ficho Tunnel
- Last Cave
- Atlantis
- Fluorite Plains
- Skys Rim
- Ascension Island
