This is for Portal fans out there.

This was a quick music video I made about portal, and the song is called "You wouldn't Know" from Lego dimensions.

This is my honest  and detailed opinion, with the grit and all, sized down so you don't have to look at it. Copy and paste if you want to see
The lipsync is /really/ bad, the effects are very random, and the clip transition is a bit on the downside. However, seeing as you don't have that many videos done yet, you are on the path to getting /really/ good. Good luck. <3

Thanks, and I will try lowering the effects a little. And I will try improving on the lip sync a little. Thanks for the feed back :3 I use fraps for the recording, and the editing program I use is wondershare.

I can definitely help you if you are working with fraps on the lipsync! However, I use sony-vegas (I pay for it via my side-job) so I can't help you there. I'll have to study up on it a bit ^w^

All right. here we go:


.~. => Lipsync can be improved by copying the singers' accent and the time they hold onto a note(s) (Such as the singer going "AWOOOO" = Awoooooouuuuiiiieeeoooouuuuuuunnnnnnn)

.~. => The clips can be improved by lengthening the time the singer sings (fixed by lipsync.) You can also cut to the teeth of when the character starts singing and ending it so that your clips are synced in-time well.

.~. => And the effects can be used better by using them /intentionally./ Such as a reference to what the singer is singing about. If it's a dark part of the song, you can grey your video and add some black borders (thickness depending on what you want)



I don't use this account to post videos any-more, but here is what a video from me back in the day (cough-cough when I was working on it but getting there) with my lipsync/editing. The pan/cropping and some of the clip transitions are a bit awkward, but you have a goal lol. <3
