Please Help (Black maps, SOLVED)

So I recently joined FH again after a couple of years.
On a new computer. Whenever I try to enter the map It's black?

I can see other peoples chat and I think avatar to
but I can't see the map its self. I tried reseting home and turning/off/on/ my computer

I don't really want to reinstall but if I have to..

Honestly I think you might have to reinstall, that happened to me when I first downloaded FH and I had to redownload it. But I could be wrong, I suggest waiting for a person more knowing of this topic before doing anything.

There are a couple of things you can do in this order:

-Uninstall the game completely and then delete the Feral Heart main folder before reinstalling the game again as Thyme suggested.

(Did this fix anything? If not proceed below)

-Use the character reset option at the top right of the site here. Reset all of your characters home position and send them home and then check in game to see if you can see the maps.

(If you can't see still proceed below still)

-Look into your video settings. Go to options on the game's main menu and then go to the video tab. Switch your game's rendering subsystem to OpenGL or Direct3D9.

Hopefully one of these things will help. Let us know how it goes.

I tried everything you guys suggested and it still is black
I'm not sure if it is downloading the terrains? perhaps that could be the problem.

Oh! I think I figured out the problem.
I've heard this talk about patches and I just remembered
don't you need to install the game and then this patch?

Though I have a small problem.. The patch won't show up on the 'Downloads' page
just FeralHeart Game Set Up same with Feralheart + it won't show up.

I don't believe there is a patch to actually download thence why ye' don't see any patch download in the Downloads page. Have ye' checked to see if yer graphics card is updated? That could explain the black terrains. Click here for more information regardin' that.

I've figured out the problem this time
instead of choosing where I want Feralheart to install
I let it choose where it wanted to install. And now it works.
