So I know that ads are normal on this site, but I'm getting a lot of... inappropriate ads. (Nothing too bad, just games 18+ with... odd artwork on them.) These are becoming more common than the "Spin the Wheel" ads. I was just wondering if this is normal and if I can do something about this.

This happened to me as well. For me to fix it I just pressed the login tab, waited 30 seconds, then entered the game. It worked, so I don't know if that is the solution or it just decided to be nice. I also suggest you (like everyone else said) reset your character's home and then send them home.
If this doesn't work, the server might be too crowded atm.

I've been trying to get a signature pic/gif to show up on my signature (It says pics are allowed and I see ppl with gifs aswell.) Anyone able to tell me how? (Or I might be stupid.. ;3)
