How to import objects?
« on: July 24, 2017, 04:25:53 am »
Sorry for all the topics >.< But I'm trying to make a huge map thing!
I've downloaded objects before but due to all the new folders, I am not sure what to do and what should go where.

I've always placed .fho files in FH > Media > Objects > My_Objects

Me hopes this has answered your question and I have not perceived wrongly.

And what do I do with the objects themselves? The items in question come in folders including their textures and the object itself.

My apologies. There are moments where I forget how to word in general.
Ignore what my fingers previously instructed. I mean to say "the files in general."
Meaning, put them all in My_Objects.

The folders or do I have to take everything out of them?

Put the components in the folders in the folders in the "My_objects" folder  (i haven't actually examined the contents yet so idk if you'll have to assemble them in the object maker or not.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"

Is there another way that isn't... so time consuming?

There's no other way that I'm aware of.. If you want the objects, you have to go into object maker and manually type in suchandsuch.mesh and then export them as objects.
