Game acting weird please help?
« on: July 11, 2011, 03:29:32 am »
Ok so i just donloaded Feralheart onto my computer, at first it was shuting down for no reason but i did my research and i fixed it. But now the game is acting all weird because the pround is the same color as the sky, the buttons are all fuzzy, and i bacicly cant do anything. I know what the problem is, and it wont fix. The Rendering Subsystem under the video section in options is set to OpenGL, but i tried to set it to Direct3D9, and so i click it, and it says Restart game for settings to take effect. So i do, and i come back and its still weird, and still set to OpenGL. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. Thanks, Icey.

Open the FeralHeart folder, and open the ogre.cfg file in notepad, then change the first line from:
Code: [Select]
Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystemto:
Code: [Select]
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem

^ As Rylee already said in first post, that doesn't change anything.
You can try this:

They said changing in-game to Direct3D9 has no effect because it switches back to OpenGL so maybe if they switch that, it'll work. :) Otherwise, I would of linked to that thread as well.
