Can someone retexture some default flowers red?

Haha yeahhh i've tried to learn how to make my own textures and it just didnt go well. Sorta rage quit cause thats how cool I am e.e


Annywayyyss, can someone retexture at least two of the default flowers red for me? I need them for a map. Whenever you get done retexturing them for me, just post a reply on the this same thread with the link!

 I can teach ya, real simple in fact.
1. go to the fh folder, then media, objects, plants.
2. Click on one of the flower png  files, edit with  gimp.
Gimp, is an easy tool use to color presets, retexture and all things like that, which you can download it here http://www.gimp.org/
3. After that open it up and go to the black colored and go to red, click the paint brush and lower the opacity to 70 or lower
4. make the brush larger
5. color
6. save and go in game and type in the flower [number here]  mesh in object creator and walla!

Ok so i got everything colored, but when i go into mesh maker and type in the name in the material box in the mesh maker, it only gives me the original flower, not the colored one. For example, i used the flower2.mesh and i colored it and everything and i saved over the original file with the colored one, but when i type it in, it just gives me the original colored one back. Anyone got any ideas?

Did you make a new material file?

It takes a few mins to do but you have to have notepad and all that.  But can you explain what you did?

Well Can I have you explain what you did? Like for retexturing the flower? steps?

Oh, well followed the steps you did and then, as i saved over the original flower with my colored one, i went into object maker and brought up the flower i wanted to use and when i typed in the name for the flower that was colored, it just came up as the original one. So i need to make a material file right?

Why not try and resave the material Flower2 has?
