Apachas
Apachas (Pronounced Appa-ca) was first bred in 1894 to be used as a hunter. It is a mix between a Red Fox and a Wolf. Apachas are slightly taller than foxes in general, but not as big as a wolf. The color of a common Apacha is a rust-brown, with a slight tint of orange. They have black glove-like markings on there front paws, and normal fox markings on there face. (The markings are found in Mass Markings Pack, if wondering)
Male Apachas are slighly larger than females, but females are faster and more timid. The personality of them are independent, but social when bonded together.
Apachas usually stay in dry areas. They most commonly eat meat and fish, and sometimes berries if no other variety.
Apachas reach adulthood at around 3 years old. They stop growing once they reach 1.5 years. Apacha pups stay with there mums until 7 months old. Breeding in this species is different from most wolves and foxes. The Apacha can start mating once it has reached adulthood. The only way a male can breed with a female is if they stayed together since birth, which is quite odd. Males can only mate with females only if the female wants pups.
Apachas usually live up to 12 years, but sometimes less since they catch parasites, bacteria, and rabies fast.
