Winged Wolves -WIP-

The winged wolf is a fascinating wolf species because it can fly. It may be a small subspecies of the gray wolf but it is a winged version of the arctic wolf.

Males

A male winged wolf is a light gray white color. He helps the pack hunt, and leaves elder females to babysit pups. He has larger wings than a female's wings, and has a black nose, no matter what color their markings are. He uses his wings to fly. If prey is not noticing him, he will land on the prey and start attacking it. The pack helps him attack the prey until it dies.

Females

A female winged wolf is a bright white color. She helps the males help and she stays with the other wolves while the male rounds up the elder females. Her wings are smaller than the male's wings, but can still fly. Her nose is white, just like her fur.  She does fly up high with the male to ambush prey from the air. When she lands on the prey, she helps the male attack the prey until it dies.

Pups

Pups are the size of a mouse when newborn. Their wings are too small to let them fly and they cannot open their eyes yet or hear yet until 2 weeks. When newborn, their mother eats the placenta. Males are gray white with a black nose and females have a white nose with white fur. They reach maturity at 18 months.
