Coding Presets?
« on: August 15, 2011, 08:08:51 pm »
Hey. I know that I am a complete noob for asking this but... How do you add a code to your presets? I've tried it over and over again, read the Ogre thing (It spoke gibberish to me...), and I've tried the tutorials on them. And they still don't work. I use Gimp so my files aren't PNG files. They are JPG. I've tried changeing the codes from PNG to JPG and that doesnt work either. Help!
Help my Pokemon please! I love you forever!!!!

well, im not sure if this will help but heres how i made my first preset:

1. i took a look at the included preset files to get the information i needed
2. after hours of playing around i found the following things should be done in able to view your preset (if you dont use gimp then im not sure what you do)

1. the pre made presets were in rgb color, 512x512, jpg. files, and labeled with something such as whats in this example:

the head part was called "preset_1head

the eyes: "preset_1eye"

tail: "preset_1tail"

mane: "preset_1mane"

hope this helps you any!

There are many different codes, all of which will usually come with instructions.
PM me and I can help you with any codes. ;3
