Invisible Friends in Custom Map

So, I recently made a map, exported it, and shared it with my friend. The trouble is, even though on the friends list it says she is in the map, I can't see her, and she can't see me. We've both tried re-logging. I even moved the files I used to make the map to my desktop to see if there was a conflict between that and the exported version, but we still can't see each other. Help would be very much appreciated.

Try both of you walking into a public map like the Cape and walking back in. This happens to me now and then.

No. And I know we were in the same map 'cause she was talking about specific things I had placed there. :/

I'll give this a try.

EDIT - This did not work. And if it would have, it's hard to tell. We both have so many maps, they're running off the cape, so we had to create portal hubs. That's how we access all of our new maps. We don't have the same portal hub, so we can't really walk in and out together. :/

Update: one of our friends tried to locate the friend I can't see. The map is saved as trace.fhm, but the name that's shown is supposed to be Trace's Secret. The one who just tried to locate us says that my friend is just in trace. Not sure how this information helps, but... =shrug=

So, somehow I had two portals to the map. When I found where the second one wound up, I could see my friend. ^^ So, I guess this is solved. XD
