~Solved!~ Please close
« on: January 01, 2012, 01:33:08 pm »
So I've recently posted here asking for help getting my Simplistic/Faster heart running. Its now come to my attention that there is no known way to get it working again.

Ive already lowered every option possible in the game play options menu & this still doesn't reduce my lag. So now I'm wondering if there is anyone out there capable of telling me how i can further lower the details as Slycan did with the Simplistic. I understand that this probably cant be fixed with a simple download so I'm willing to manually change certain things to make this possible. So long as theirs someone willing to help me out & it doesn't violate the rules.

Here is an example posted by Red:

Highest settings possible.

Lowest settings possible

I'm currently running at the Highest settings possible. I'm trying to get mine to the lowest settings possible.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try modifying your anti-aliasing quality under Options>Video

Edit//
Another lag reducing trick is to turn off water reflection and set your view distance to 0.

I've already turned down those settings yet I still have the same relentless lag.

Is there any way you can adjust your graphics on your computer?
This is just a wild guess, but your video card might also be causing this.

I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing that. That's why i've been asking if someone could walk me through the steps. More than likely my video card is whats causing my lag since its pretty ancient & I have no intentions on getting a new one any time soon. It isn't worth putting a new one on my crummy laptop. Once i can turn down those settings it should run a little smoother. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Well, at this point that's all the advice I can give you FeralHeart wise.
It seems like from here on it's a matter of your computer settings, (which I'm completey clueless about those) so i suggest looking elsewhere for a good fix. (Maybe on a site that supports your kind of computer/video card)

Have you uninstalled/re-installed Feralheart & Simplistic? (By uninstalled, I'm talking removed every file and replaced every file. )

Yay I finally fixed it. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my video card after all. All i needed to do was switch my rendering system... though now that makes me feel like a complete dork for not realizing it faster. Thank you for all your help DeaFosho!! :D
