DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO MAKE MAPS AND HOW TO GET PEOPLE INTO IT!

Please don't make your title in all caps, that isn't necessary in order for us to see your thread.

You get people into your maps by adding a portal and exporting it, then going to your exports folder and getting the exported files. Then upload them to www.mediafire.com (or somewhere that uploads files) and have your friends download them and put them in their exports folder.

You make weather in Sky Maker, you can figure it out just by playing around with it.

For music, put a song (it must be a .mp3 or a .wav file) in your sounds folder, and type it in, in the "Music" section in map maker.

well one map has a portal to cape and is linked by portals to 2 other maps, and yes they all have coordinates. But i dont know wat the portals file or folder thing looks like or wat it says and is it in teh exports folder?

The portals doesn't get their own files.

When you create a portal or gate for a map, it will be a part of the .fhm.

.fhm is the map, .fho is the objects etc.

Oh ok so wen i export the map and put the fhm file up for download i can see other ppl on the map?
Also so ppl can see the objects i have to put the fho file up with the fhm file too right?

.fho is the objects you use.

All exported files that's linked to your map needs to be sent, otherwise the map wont work properly for the rest.

But yeah, once you put these files up for a download in a zip and people actually have downloaded it. They should be able to enter the map. But just because you put it up for a download wont mean members start plopping up inside of it.

They need to download and install the map as well.

Does everything have to be in one zip file or do the maps have to be separate from the rest?

Neither.

People just put the maps in .zip and .rar files just because they should be in one file.

It's very unconvenient to send file after file after file when you could just put it all in one zip and send it.

It doesn't have to be in a zip, but it's usually the best way to go, since it's both easier to put up for download,  and other TO download.
