Not sure if there's a tutorial on how to do this out there, but if you would like to make your own fur texture, I would suggest using the UV Maps provided in the preset reference folder as if you were going to make a preset. I'd make a layer underneath the UV once in GIMP or Photoshop white, and then draw the fur on how you would like. If you wish to save it as the texture that appears in game, then you'll have to save it over the already existing fur shades in FeralHeart>>Media>>Textures>>Masks folder. Be sure to back up the original ones if you do this though so you can switch back to it if you ever feel like it. c: Hope this helped a bit!
