Paying for Requests?

This is not a technical error, more a content one. c: And it's not an error, either, but merely a query on my part.


Confused?

So, I recently ventured into the 'Art' and 'Preset' sort of area of the forum (Dayum, dem artistic people) and it came to my attention that many people were posting requests for art and such.

Here's the confusion:

- Some said their art is 'free'. (Pretty self-explanatory).
- Some said 'paid'. (DA points I think, not real money.)
- Others said 'trade' (Swap one art for another, or a preset or something.)
- Some did not specify.

And that last one is the confusing one. What do you do, when they give you your art? Say thanks, floof them and leave? Is there a secret bro code one must do? :3

Just a little oddity of a question, if you'd be so kind as to answer it?

Normally those who wish to receive somethin' in return will usually specify what it is that she/he wants whether it be a piece of artwork or preset, DA points, money from PayPal, or sometimes nothin' at all. If one fails to specify this matter, then it's almost expectant that either members will assume it's free or a member will ask via commentin'. There's nothin' generally special to do with these un-specifying users as far as I know.

 Generally if they don't specify it's implied to be free, seeing as its the "Request" section.

Request is when someone is offering art for free.
Commission is when you have to pay for someone to do the art.

If someone is offering requests for points/money then they're the ones that have got it wrong c:
