My presets aren't showing up

Im gonna get right down into the issue. I've made a preset for my character, all nice and pretty, but people who downloaded it can't see it. It stopped working after I changed my username and no one can see the presets. But those people have preset sync when I don't. Am I obliged to get sync for people to see my presets? this is frustrating me, because I don't want to have sync installed.

All you need to do is export it under your new username and it should work? That's my best guess. You don't need to download the preset sync if you don't want to, I understand that completely.

I did export it under my new username, but people still aren't seeing it.

Are you sharing your new .fhm file? I find placing the download link into the Bio enables others to see it if they choose to download it. If you have any close friends, they should be able to see it with the file as well. That's the only way, without PresetSync, to have people see your preset. I am unsure of your current situation, so I apologize if you have already done such.

.fhm? I think you meant .fhp, perhaps? if so, then yes. i've been playing this game for 7 years, i know my ways around, but this is the first time people don't see my preset and i don't know the cause of it.

Oops, .fhm is for maps! I apologize. I, too, am a seasoned member (8 years since July)

I am really unsure on why it's not showing up? Exporting, placing in the Presets folder, the Use Preset button... all of that you've done. I am sorry I cannot be anymore help to you! I am just as confused as you are.

EDIT: Have they put the preset file into the Presets folder, not exports?

The thing is- I don't understand how sync works at all so I'm just saying what I was told- because these people have preset sync they're putting the preset into a folder which isn't the original presets folder. Because I have 0 knowledge on sync, I can't fix this myself, but they're saying they're putting the preset into PresetDownloads? Or PrivatePresets?-- The name is similar to those listed.

And one person who does NOT use sync apparently can see my preset. Is this really because of sync?

Hello! From what I know, all they need to do to see your preset is to put the .fhp, in the main FH folder, in "presets". Not "my_presets", but "presets."
Are you sure they've done that, the people who have the sync? Because that's the only other way to see your preset, is if your .fhp is in both your "presets" folder and theirs. The only other thing I would suggest is to try re-exporting it?

I exported it several times. I'm not so sure if they placed the .fhp file into presets folder, but I'm certain it's not in my_presets. I will need to ask them about it.

It's most likely because of PresetSync, since the only time it works if both users have it. Or at least I think?

If you go to the User Panel, you will be able to upload the .fhp file onto the PresetSync server. However, I am unsure how it works completely. I'd recommend viewing this to nab an understanding.
