This is a random thing I sometimes see in chat that I feel is too frustrating to not do something about.
Why do some people split each and every one of their sentences into two-three words and posts only two-three words at a time until they've finished what they're saying? It gets really annoying having to chase a normal message upward to read it, and I can't turn off Local because I'm trying to read a post that's also in Local!
Is it people trying to test the limits of the spamming rule?

Does it annoy you when someone posts two words at a time until they complete their sentence(s)?

I don't mind the "Forgot to type something!" moments people get when typing, but if the first 'sentence' is two words that don't make sense then it's clearly someone posting two words at a time.

I won't list the names here of users I've seen doing this ingame.

What annoys you about the chat window?

My presets.

Good things take time, so I'll take an eternity and create something so good that the human brain can't handle the sheer goodness of it.

Same, i thought it was because they had ADHD or thought other people might think they were ignoring them if they didn't respond within 2 seconds, but then they had to complete the sentence.  This is possible because i've taken 5 seconds to respond and the people thought i was AFK & logged out.  5 seconds.  Go figure.

The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"

Feel like this may be targeted at me, lol.
To be honest, I’m not sure why I or other people do it. My friend does t a lot and I guess it’s just a habit that I grew. I try not to do it most of the time though.

Eh, not a big deal for me unless its spanning the entire chat window. I do it a lot, it's just kinda a.... 'typing style', I guess? Not sure how best to explain it. Just a little quirk I've picked up from certain websites I go to as well as people I text. There's really a lot of different tones that are used from website-to-website and ways of typing, and this is just the one a lot of people have used/liked most. Some don't, too, I think both ways are fine.

It's just more informal, I only use it around people when I'm more relaxed, so I don't use it as much in Feralheart as I would messaging a friend on Discord. It's not really an attention-issue thing, just a way to emphasize parts of a sentence in a more dramatic way, I guess?

I'm more awake now, and able to think.

Maybe humans are just getting more and more impatient as years pass? The future might have more instant everything, and the more instant things are, the less used to waiting people may get.

Feel like this may be targeted at me, lol.

I'm not mad at those who do it. I'm sure many users did this before, and found it fun to try typing like that. I've never typed like that before, which might be why I find it so annoying; I don't know what it's like to type that way at all.

The few times I've seen it, it did span the whole chat window. But that way of typing certainly does emphasize whole sentences, now that I once-again recall seeing it, I surprisingly didn't get bored waiting for the next two words in even the sentences that span whole chat windows.

Thank you for your opinion, everyone! So the stream of two-word posts aren't something meant to make people mad, from now on I'll try getting used to seeing that style of typing whenever the style of typing happens. :)

I feel like it emphasizes tone in which the person is trying to convey, or that's why I do it.
I don't do it often in-game but in chats like Discord I do it frequently.
