How to export map sturf from GIMP

So I made a map terrain and mask on gimp but it only lets me save them as .xcf. It says to have them as other formats to go to file>export. I cant find that or know how to do it anyways. I really need to do this map but if i cant get the terrain and mask as jpg files then i cant do it D8 Please help!

For gimp, when you're saving, it'll say something like;

"ForbiddenTerrain.xcf" yes?

All you have to do is change it to "ForbiddenTerrain.png" and it should save it for you automatically.

That's what i did but a window pops up and it says something like GIMP blah blah blah to change to other formats go to file then export blah blah blah and it only lets me save them as xcf

This is exactly what it says:

You can use this dialog to save the to the GIMP XCF format. Use file -->Export to export to other file formats.

Um, my computer...when i pres prtScrn it doesnt do anything...and if it does idk where to find the screenshots

Hit Ctrl+ScrnShot, go to Paint, and paste. Should be thar.
